To my mind, one of the best "techno" tracks ever cut. Hard, merciless, demanding - none of the fluff or propensity to inspire an intake of pharmaceuticals. Just the music.
While Jeff Mills went on to bigger, and some people may infer better, things with his solo work and the Axis and Purpose Maker imprints, this record holds true to an aesthetic important to his creative side almost two decades ago.
If youve been to Detroit, you get a better gist of just where this music was coming from.
