Profile: For all you record sellers:
Don’t bother telling me that you’re selling a record on my want list, unless you’re selling it for $5 USA or you want to trade it for one of my records! I’m not interested in eBay sales that are located in Europe! It’s too damn expensive! ( >o<)/
I was selling my records a while back, but after a while, people stopped showing interest, so I’m pretty much done with that. Not to mention that it gets quite expensive sending these to Europe.
However, if anyone is interested in buying my entire collection, feel free to send me an offer. There are currently 527 records in there. I also have a lot that are not in the Discogs database. I think I have about 590 records or so. I would prefer to deal with someone in the United States. However, if you live in another country & you understand that shipping about 240 LBS (108.8 kg) costs a lot of money & you're willing to pay for it, I'll deal with you too. \(^_^ )

Pizzicato Five - 30-Mar-04 07:40 PM
This is my favorite Japanese group. It's really hard to classify their style of music, but lets just say that Austin Powers would be a very big fan of their sound. Yeah baby! YEAH!! They have a very groovy, pop like, electronic, downtempo, psychedelic, easylistening, bossa nova, jazzy sound to their music. It's totally hip. So yeah!! Even if you don't speak Japanese, pick their stuff up! It's way too COOL! (^_^ )
Âme Strong - Tout Est Bleu (François K. Remix) - 28-Mar-04 09:38 PM
Here’s another fine production by Francois K. & Eric Kupper. Basically, this is a garage anthem. With sweet & sexy French lyrics sung by French lady Ame Strong & house music production by Francois K. on side A, you can’t go wrong. On side B, we have the Dub version. It has a softer drum kick, but it features some badass synthesizer / keyboard work by Eric Kupper. Then we finally have the Original Ame Strong S.A. Mix which is not really house, but more of a softer R type pop song. So yeah. Find it. See it. Grab it!! (^_^ )
Moraes* Presents - I Like It (I Like How You're Lov'in Me) - 25-Mar-04 09:42 PM
The two mixes that are worthy on this record are the The Fog Horn & the Octapella Dub. On side A, The Fog Horn mix has a very thick New York vibe. It has a vocal sample here & there, but mostly stays minimal. The drum kick on this mix can devastate any speaker. On side B, we have the Octapella Dub. This is really good too. The vocals by Octavia Lambertis & the mesmerizing Angel Moraes sound totally make an excellent track. This is the kinda stuff that real house music is made of. (^_^ )
Angel Moraes - Hairy & Big - 25-Mar-04 11:19 AM
Oh man!! This is one deep & hypnotic mind f*ck of the best kind! It’s one of Angel Moraes’ finer pieces of house music material that he has released throughout the years. All the mixes are worthy, but the one to really get down to is the Angels Big & Hairy Dub that’s found on side B. It has a female vocal sample that says, “My God, it’s so hairy & big, ig, ig, ig, ig, ig, ig”, & then it filters out. Then an organ / synthesizer sample comes in. It starts getting really hypnotic at this point. Finally another female vocal sample comes in & says, “I’m having fun with it”, ultimately getting completely filtered out & devastating the dance floor with the grinding organ / synthesizer sample!! \(^_^ )/ Yes! This is the real deal. Doc Martin has rocked this record many times. By the way, this record works even better if you have 2 copies of it. You can rock back & forth between the other mixes. This record is a house classic that should be in every house DJ's record bag or crate. So, if you’re lucky enough to see a copy of this 12” on Hot 'N' Spycy Recordings, GET IT!! (^_^ )
Lego - Flava In Ya Ear Vol. 2 - 20-Mar-04 10:17 PM
OK!! Stand back! I'm gonna spill the beans on this record. Yes. I’m gonna review it! This is a rare gem on the now defunct Afterhours label. All Latin house records should be measured against this record. This record is the real deal, folks. We’ll start off with “When I’m With You”. This is my favorite track on the whole record. I have yet to hear anyone play a Latin jazz style trumpet like Ron Haynes did in the Trumpet Mix. Then it has all the other neat percussion & keys by Lego himself in there. Oh man!! This track has so much soul put into it! I can play this track over & over & never get tired of it. I almost shed a tear every time I hear it. (T_T ) The Piano Mix is kinda similar, but with a piano instead. Duh. It’s not as good as the first one, but still, it’s really nice. With a piano solo by Jose Valdez, this track will keep the Latin vibe flowing. Flip the record over & we have “El Ritmo de Verdad”. Just about every single house DJ that I can think of has rocked this track. The Extended version is the one to play. "Sé que tu quieres entonces moverte, por eso ahora, el ritmo de verdad.” That’s the vocal simple that’s repeated over & over by Javante Monet. Then there’s the percussion, trumpet, & keyboard sample rocking throughout the record. It’s basically a house anthem. So yeah. If you’re lucky enough to see a copy of this record lying around in a record store or on eBay, pick it up immediately!!! (^_^ )
