Well what can you say about this tune!! One of the finest releases of 88 if not of all time for UK hip hop. Using james browns funky drummer as the back beat, and with some quality scratches this tune is an absolute "head nodder"......and thats without mentioning the use to devastating effect of gwen mcrae's "giving all my love" break , this tune gives US hip hop a real run for its money.....awesome!!

What a fantastic lp! The Boys at 33 Throwdown do it again, this label just gets better and better. With a roster of artists like this how can it fail? Dj Dren. Razor cuts, The Saxons, deliver an outstanding blend of cut ups and multiple edits, only rivalled by freddie Fresh himself who is also on this release! Taking hip hop into the 21st century!!

Forget the A side the B side is the killer cut on this 12"!! Fast and furious lyrics from Blade coupled with wicked scratching from Dj Renegade make this one of the finest UK hip hop tracks ever produced. They dont make em like this anymore!!

Tight production from Marley marl and some of the toughest beats and scratching ever laid down make this a hip hop classic and thats even before shante gets busy on the microphone! Shante is one of the best mc's ever, let alone female mc's and this was undoubtedly her finest moment. "Bite This" is an awesome "Diss" record and Shante makes no secret of whom its directed at, naming mc's left right & centre and inviting them to........ "Bite This"........awesome hip hop!!

A fantastic release, so many classic breaks on this lp including "i get lifted" which was used by "mc shan on- kill that noise" and not forgetting the awesome "let it go pt 2" which was used to great effect on the oldskool hardcore classic "lock up by zero b" this lp is so funky its unbelievable!!
