When I was working in a record shop and this record was released, there was a big discussion about the tempo of "4 Degree". Everybody was playing it at 45 RPM, as decared. But Dr. Motte and all employees of the shop thought that this track has to be played on 33 +8% (or +16% if you tuned up your MK's). That night Motte played it at legendary E-Werk in Berlin. The crowd went totally bananas on this thing and every Guest DJ who spun that thing there, was told by us to play it again later on 33. I tell you, they were never disappointed when he saw and heard the effect. So, just try it for yourself: play it 33 +8!!!
