Various - Groove Anthology - Mekka & The Soul Brother - 24-Jul-08 01:54 AM
This is one of the compilations that coquered my heart through music and history. Mekka & The Soul Brother is quite personal as it tells everything about the dance music micro-cosmos "Ruhrgebiet" in Germany´s former industrial pit and the people that put dance music on the map. The CD has lots of melancholic moments and a heart full of love. Whatever, it´s not a landmark like the "Mecca" Compilation on Kent Records, that recites the Blackpool era, but for people that grew up with this sound and the involved people, celebrated countless amazing parties or simply participated on the dancefloor, it will be a sugarcoated memorabilia.

Electronicat - Voodoo Man - 26-Jun-08 05:41 AM
"Voodoo Man" is possibly one of the the most outstanding contemporary releases in my collection. Fred´s first album "21st Century Toy" was already a great release, but "Voodoo Man" ist the shit! If you love Rockabilly, Exotica, Noise, Glam Rock and Electro, you will die for it, as I did when I heard the promo CD for the first time. Electronicat balances all these styles in perfection and makes the "Voodoo Man" a pefect Discobilly Pop record for any occasion. It will be one of my alltime faves!

Celtic Frost - Into The Pandemonium - 24-Jun-08 03:36 AM
Into The Pandemonium is Celtic Frost´s tribute to Rozz Williams and Christian Death. Compared to other CF works, it´s completely outstanding. Listen to the first two Christian Death releases Deathwish and Theatre Of Pain and you will hear the obvious referemces and similarities.

Information Society - Running - 12-Jun-08 02:22 AM
Running will be one of my all time classics. It combines two styles that I died for in those days, Electro Hip Hop and New Wave. It´s like listening to a Soulsonic Force Track with the Pop mood of ABC. There´s nothing comparable to this song and even plenty of bootleg remixes of the 90s and nowadays can´t catch the original spirit.
