DJ Krush - Code4109 - 03-Apr-07 11:19 AM
Mostly instrumental mix, tiny bit of japanese rap, chilled out hiphop beats, little bit of jazz, very creative. Probably the best place to start, as it is an excellent introduction to DJ Krushs work.

Aesop Rock - Fast Cars, Danger, Fire And Knives - 29-Mar-07 03:08 AM
If you like any other Aesop Rock work, this is worth getting for the lyric book alone. It contains the lyrics from Float, Labor Days, Daylight EP, Bazooka Tooth and this EP.
This EP also contains some of his better tunes. Stand out tracks are the upbeat Rickety Rackety, Holy Smokes -with the stories of his catholic upbringing, and my personal favourite; Food, Clothes, Medicine. Not exactly mainstream rap, but very interesting beats and lyrics. If you like previous albums, you should like this.
4 stars..... 5 with the lyric book.
Polygon Window - Surfing On Sine Waves - 27-Mar-07 03:45 AM
If you are into mainstream or chart music, this may take getting used to and require patience. If you like dance music but dont want to have to move like mad all the time, this is great. A few of the tracks are ambient, while a few are pounding and repetative. As a whole, this early techno album is worth a listen if you are familar with Aphex Twins work, but might not be the best place to start.
Plump DJs - Elastic Breaks - 26-Mar-07 06:40 PM
This mix is the best Ive heard by the Plump DJs, mixing up reworks of some classics such as Humanoid, and great tunes such as Big Groovy Fucker, which sounds exactly like you would expect. Fantasticly heavy breakbeats. Highly recommended.
