This truly is a gem of a trance mix. It may have been a free CD, but boy does it deliver. Trance in its literal form - if you haven't already creamed yourself by track 2 (the immense What's This) then hold tight for two more of the best trance tracks ever made - La Paloma and Spiritualised. Not that any of the other tracks are a let down, this mix is beautifully constructed and is jam-packed full of beauty and stomp from start to finish.

12 years after release, this mix still never fails to impress. The masterstroke of playing from all genres adds to the quality and love put into the mixing itself by Carl Cox. I have bought this album 3 times now, one was played to death and one was permanently borrowed by a mate.

If you can listen to the whole 2 disc mix and say you don't rate it, you will never get dance music and mixing.
