Dee Jay Cocoe is one of the least likely candidates for a Fuckpony remix imaginable, which is what makes this EP interesting. Wisely, the original is relegated to last place on the EP. It creaks along, molasses slow, with the clanking of metal on concrete for percussion, a selection of fuzzed effects adding to the air of fog-bound melancholy evoked by the African vocal. It is what you might expect from someone with Cocoe's pedigree and neither particularly original nor interesting. The addition of Alejandro Vivanco and Fuckpony, on the other hand, takes the track to a whole new level.

I have been really feeling CFCF's music recently. I like his spider-man looking avator too, so cute. Don't really know much about CFCF except that he is from Montreal. It seems there are just more and more talents coming out from Canada. This remix album is a synth journey that reminds me a little bit of the Rocky theme. His new song Claudio is better though, honestly, and his remix of Femme is also a good one.

That repeated "Oowh" is my favorite part, very driving and energetic. Richie is the master of building up grooves with striped-down naunces. His soundscape is so original and unique which always give you a "this is richie" feeling. I found on the internet a Magda remix of the track but I seriously doubt if it's authentic, because it's really not very good compared to what's in this release.

Although I love Richie's new works, I think there hasn't yet anything mind-blowing compared to the "Plastik man" era.

Last time when I saw Ellen Allien in Shanghai, she blew me away with an amazing set. There are not many female djs in the whole world that's on her level. Learning how to DJ myself, a girl, she is no doubt my idol.

This release is one of her best works and I absolutely love it.

BPitch Control has got awesome artists and I can't wait to hear her new tracks.
