Rabies contains one the best ever Skinny Puppy tracks; Warlock. This track is an excellent yet pitifully heart wrenching piece of electronic music. Skinny puppy use their lyrical knives to dissect the subject matter over beautiful strings that stab at the emotions of the listener. It slowly pulls itself from an electronic wasteland into a digital crescendo that reaches deep into colours that not of a rainbow, but more of a slaughterhouse wall. Dark, disturbing, horrific, beautiful. This is not one for the faint hearted but one of the most important records tracks Skinny Puppy ever recorded.
