Profile: Born in 1970 in the cool town Amsterdam, love old school electro-funk and hip hop. Specially the 80's electro era, which was the best IMO.
I still collect them oldies, and I am always willing to trade, be it mp3's or vinyl. Feel free to ask if I have a certain tune spare on vinyl.

David Merrill & Steve Brown Featuring Rosey Rose - Break Dancin' - 24-Oct-09 02:15 AM
One of those records from 1984 that will explain you "How to breakdance...Not sure if that would be the best way to learn it, but its fun to see inside the LP cover and look at the examples (pictures). Clothing and the moves are fun to look at...The Music itself is pretty good, some nice beats and sounds. Basicly its an instrumental piece, but side A is narrated by Rosey Rose, saying what to do, and what moves to make. No rap, just narrating. Side B is Instrumental, and called practising music. I think KTEL used to make these kind of albums too, at the peak of breakdance rage back in 84. This one is different, because it did not use excisting tracks, like Afrika Bambaataa, Shannon and other wellknown tracks. Fun album!

Mac Attack - Art Of Drums - 11-Oct-09 04:34 AM
Nice electro, rap, gogo 12 inch with a cool rap version on it. Funny thing about this record is that the music andbeats are exactly the same as the Alvin - DT record (on the same Future records label). Only the rap is different on both records, very collectable records. This gogo and rap style are very known as the style Kurtis Blow used in his records. So if you like Kurtis Blow, you will probably like Alvin - DT and Mac Attack - Art of Drums! Although Mac Attack - Art of Drums isnt seen that much on Ebay, Alvin - DT is seen a couple of times on Ebay.

Die Zwei - U.S.A.! U.S.A.! U.S.A.! - 15-Aug-09 06:50 AM
Strange and obscure German production, "Wanted: The Tyrell Corp." blew me away! Great weird track with lots of vocoder action, synths, and bizar lyrics about ET etc etc. Nice addition to your collection if you like the obscure and experimental! No idea if this one was pressed alot, didnt see that many for sale, but the ones I saw were in Near Mint or Mint condition. Probably a forgotten (underrated) album. It took a while to get the original title of this album, as it was also available on tape. In the old school electro community this was/is a sought after track.

Sound On Sound Productions - Season's Greetings - 26-Aug-07 04:29 AM
Old School disco rap track, nice mellow beat and old style rap in a X Mas theme. Shame this was only pressed on colored (Yellow) vinyl, as usual pressings on colored vinyl from that time U have to be carefull with..they damage easy, loads of clicks and pops as result.

Jonzun Crew* - Electro Boogie Encounter / Pack Jam (Remix) - 24-Aug-07 05:54 AM
The classic electro killer in the remix! Great job done on the remix by Michael Jonzun and Maurice Starr, using some sort of an echo in it...not overdone, just light chances, but making it THE better version of Pack Jam. The downside is the fact it was pressed on that lousy GREEN vinyl, it "damages" easier, so clicks and pops usually appear faster on colored vinyl.
