If you read this you might have been bugged by my dissenting with you on a submission. I do not try to push my own agenda when submitting or commenting on a submission. Although I am not 100% content with the SGs I try to endorse them 100% for reasons uniformity. (Anarchy might be fun in real life, but not in Discogs.) So when I submit or comment then I try to follow the letter of the law. Please refer to SGs if you disagree with me.

Motivation: But why should I endorse the guidelines if I am not content with them? Because I don't see any better alternative. Personal submission rules lead to chaos if they conflict with existing SGs. The same goes for submissions inspired by an artist's intentions. They only play a role insofar as they are mentioned in the SGs.
