Plump DJs - A Plump Night Out

This is still one of my all time favorite albums as far as head and ass shaking breaks. Also, my tool of choice for my endless quest of converting people into breaks / nuskool fans. Funky, chunky, sick bass lines and some of the best buildups out there.
Got a buddy that hasn't heard breaks? Some friends that are say trance fans? A coworker that's never heard electronic? Pop in this bad boy and watch the heads bob... they just can't help themselves. 5/5 without the slightest bit of a doubt!
Various - Hardhop Tricked Out

How this has a low review is beyond me. My guess is the hardcore and gabber fans aren't so fond of it, but even then I'm not sure why. The sounds produced and mind games this mix can play with you are amazing. Breaks, drum & bass, hard hop, and hardcore merged in a style only Omar can produce.
A must have, especially for any Omar fan! One can only hope that Omar will once again someday, produce some "Hard Hop" for us die hards. Highly recommended! | ||||
The album consists of tracks ranging from a very break / electro feel such as the title track Machine Language, II Evolve the Future, and Begin Bombing, rave anthem style Get Out of My Mind, and the bass filled Blue Beats.
Alone (Waiting in Limbo) deserves it's own mention; and to me, is worth tracking down this release for. What a beautiful track.
