Outside Agency, The - Motherfucking Ants - 23-Jul-08 07:03 PM
Funny additional fact: by adding up the durations of parts 1 and 2 of the main track you get 7 minutes and 7 seconds of Motherfucking Ants. Considering the number 7 can already be found in this being the 7th Genosha release as well as being pressed on a 7 inch record, one could ask himself if the duration of the complete track being 7:07 is just a mere coincedence or was deliberately planned as well.

Osdorp Posse - De Rooie Demo - 29-Jan-07 04:39 AM
On the cover the following text is mentioned (translated from dutch):

"Because the demand for our demo's increased extremely, we really couldn't keep making copies on a double tapedeck and write all titles on it by hand each time. So I went searching for a company that could duplicate a hundred tapes from our 'masterdemo' for a nice price. That's how I ended up with Basement Tapes in `De Pijp`, and a week later I could pick up the hundred tapes with some saved bucks.

On my work I already had been busy with creating and copying a coverdesign, but now the `fun` could really begin: I had to cut and fold a hundred democovers, but in my enthousiasm I managed to do all that in one evening and night.

Because the demo didn't have an official title and because I picked deep-red paper for the cover, it was only a matter of time before people started calling it `The Red Demo`."

Osdorp Posse - Geendagsvlieg - 15-Aug-06 11:26 PM
In my opinion, "Geendagsvlieg" is still (by far) the best album from Osdorp Posse till date.

After years of trying and having only an Amiga to work with, this was finally how their music really should sound. Also, the great variety of styles on this album makes it a pleasure to keep listening it over and over again from time to time... without getting bored. The lyrics from Def P also started to get more poetic and complex, without losing the typical 'in your face'-feeling that made Osdorp Posse popular among their fans.

This was also the first album that featured the metalband Blind Justice in some of the tracks, which really add an extra dimension to the whole. The only thing that would have made this album better (if that's possible at all), was to also put the Extince-disstrack "Braakwater" on it as well.

Various - Fix X - Remix Pack - 28-Feb-06 03:59 AM
Although the tracklistings of the green and orange version are the same, the track on the F-side of the orange version seems to be a remix of "This Is The Future" rather than "The Future Is Ours" (both were originally released on Fix Records 7).

Mental Wreckage - Structural Chaos - 11-Oct-05 07:55 PM
The track Artificial Doomsday features a sample from the The Matrix, which I've put in there for a special reason. You hear Agent Smith saying "I'm looking for Neo. I have something for him, a gift... You see, he set me free"

- "Neo" resembles (DJ) Neophyte (my labelmanager, who was responsible for contracting me to Symp.tom)
- the "gift" resembles my music, my own style
- "he set me free" resembles the fact that in some sort of way I also have been 'set free' on the recordlabel (and also in the world of music, since this was my first release)

Maybe a bit philosophic, but I kinda liked the idea ;)
