Derrick Carter is truley a DJ's producer. He has produced everything from bangin techno to slow, almost downtempo, chugging 4/4 stuff. His trax practically mix themselves. He has amazing drum patterns and rhythm structures. Each one has an almost mathematical layout. His discography is insane! The man knows how to keep busy, and there's still plenty of recs still to be listed. Oh, and he can work a crowd too. Skills!

Whooo. This is it! If you only have 2 Moodyman recs "Silent Introduction" for starters. This would be a must. Winter Breeze is just that, it sends shivers down your spine. January is much warmer, with a thick ass baseline. Smokers and dancers alike will love this. It was repressed in 2001, so you may be able to find some copies with the plastic wrap still on it. You can hear samples on Groovetech.
