Various - History Of Hardcore Volume.1 - 100 Legendary Hardcore Tracks - 13-Aug-09 06:23 AM
Cool release, just as all other "History Of .." releases which are ever made (Traxtorm Records, Mid-Town).
But, I cant get the clue why track 1-04, 1-12 and 1-25 are on this history release. The tracks mentioned are very good, but misplaced at this compilation in my opinion since I think you cant count them by "history". If I see the tracklist most of all tracks are from the 90s and now we have some new sort tracks among them.
They have put the three tracks on it cause they belong to one of the labels.
DJ The Prophet* - What Iz Life? - 14-Jun-09 07:32 AM
The Prophets style is one like: Or you like, or you dont. But this record is a really good one.
A: "What Iz Life" is a really hard remake with the famous Prophet sound which was a bit typical for the year 1997.
B1: "Catch Me In Your Dream" is also a base-for-the-feet track with the typical sound and funny samples.
B2: "Hardsax" is a little bit more a melodial track and also uses the typical sound.
The tracks on this record are really rare to find on compilations in compare with mostly other tracks from The Prophet.
I dont know the reason of that. In my opinion it would have been nice that the numbers ar more shown at compilations.
If we count other compilations except the CDs of the Prophet itself, you can find Track A and B1 only the following releases:
For A: CD "Real hardcore 4" 12" "Various - Limited 001" Strangely The 12" does not contain the full-lenght track, what we mostly expect.
For B1: CD "Various - Trip II Dreamland - The Hardcore Compilation"
I really like this record and Im serious happy that Ive found it for my collection.
