A rather short (about 20 minutes) but great early 80s electronic soundtrack, sounding a bit like early John Carpenter work but more twisted and dark. A crickety drum machine (probably a CR-78 or CR-8000) provides a thin, synthetic backdrop for both lush and sharp eerie dark room synth tones. Highly recommended, I just wish it was about twice as long at this kind of quality.

So now the search begins for the original film!
Strongly reminicent of old electro Detroit ala Cybotron or Audiotech. Good snappy 808 driven electro.
Some really nice slower tracks as well as some more in the experimental field. This is all done in the CEM studio with rare vintage synths...though it still sounds like Legowelt!
As to be expected this is pure simple acid tech: 808 on percussion, minimal pumping octave bassline via 303. “Dinner at Barney’s” is the mack jam-- especially when the highhat opens up and starts crashing.
Excellent electro platter. "Describe Reality" is a surreal cooly-femmed vocal track and definitely a standout. All tracks have Rother's signature synthetic EuroGermanic electro feel, and every track is tops or close to it. It's truly criminal that that people gush over hyped and warmed over electroclash when this kind of stuff is out there.
