Heavy heavy heavy heavy mix. Each one of them takes the spotlight for some minutes and showcases some of their sickest beats along with some little surprises thrown in here and there (MF DOOMs rhyme from Madvillains "Accordion" for example) and whatnot. Very straightforward mixing with some nice delay effects (the Brainfeeder crew seems to love the tape delay effect.) as well. For the people that didnt have a chance to cop this CD you should know that Brainfeeder has now a podcast and their first episode was this same mix. Enjoy!

When people say theres a lot of cameo artists in this album they MEAN IT! Like.. a SHITLOAD! and of all kinds! I dont even know how I ended up buying this but Im damn glad I did. I was looking up Kid Koala stuff and the name of this all-star duo just caught my attention. After listening to the CD I must say this is definately how hiphop should be always produced. Theres all sorts of styles in this CD and they all just sound awesome. Especially the Rock N Roll song, Im amazed how they incorporated the hiphop beats to that classical piece (I think thats Vivaldis "4 Seasons"?) and when I heard Chester and Mike from Linkin Park I was just like "WHAT THE HELL! AWESOME!" and then in The Hours you can definately hear the influence of Deftones Chino Moreno along with his vocals. Even Jack Johnson is here! Seriously, this CD is filled with too many cameos.. Just go get the album and listen yourself..

Definately a weird but good vinyl.
The vocal samples get annoying after a while but its interesting how all versions sound different (except for that surfer-like guitar which I dont remember where Ive heard it before) except that for the Kat Alkolik Remix I only have one thing to say... Can you say Dalucia - Round And Round (The Pitcher Remix)? ;) Im pretty sure he couldve done a better remix.

The Pillows... what can i say? these guys can change your mood in a matter of seconds with their music. Advice is a great track that makes you want to run all over the place as soon as the drums come in but if you listen to Beautiful Morning With You after that one your mood will change to something like imagining yourself at the beach laying on a hammock with the girl you love or whatever.... Its amazing. I may not understand what the hell this guys sing but i love their music. This is a must-get album. Oh! And dont forget Fooly Cooly! Awesome 6-episodes anime, super crazy stuff. And the manga version is weirder!!
