Profile: Well what to say about myself...
I'm completely possessed by electronic dance music.
It began in the Netherlands in 1984.
A Few years later the first eurohouse Dr. Alban, Haddaway, De'Lacy, Cappella & 2 Unlimited came into my ears threw the radiostations.
ID&T organised their famous Thunderdome after their "The Final Exam..." event back in 1992.
From this moment my curiousity for electronic dance music kept on growing and growing. As did dance itself.
After a decade of badly arranged tracks* & gimmick-tracks around popular dutch children songs*, everything started shifting and trasforming into new sounds.
* Ofcourse these tracks eventually where badly arranged and their sound nowadays sounds kinda crappy to someone who might hear this for the first time, but still back here in the Netherlands it's still a respected scene since this was the start of our electronic, dance music and the style gabber/hardcore which growed over the top.
Like I Said nowadays this electronic dance music style has all kinds of subgenres and splitted up from lounge till speedcore, and everything in it between.
Ofcourse this is not all thanks to our Netherlands but we've played a big part in the story.
