Swamp Terrorists - 31-Aug-05 07:57 AM
The sound of Swamp Terrorists can be defined like a thousand Swiss collapsing mountains. They are natives of Bern, Switzerland. Swamp Terrorists began their career at the beginning of the 80s with Ane Hebeisen and STR. In 1988 they recorded their first single "He Is Guilty" with the label 150 BPM Records of Switzerland. In 1990 they sign with the German label Machinery Records, that same year they recorded their first LP “Grim - Stroke – Disease”, and in 1991 the second LP “Grow - Speed – Injection” together with the “Rebuff!” single.

This duet defines its style as "Street Tech Beat", however, I define them must as Electro-Thrash. These Swiss terrorists dont negotiate with the music, their style impacts the electro-fans and well the head-banggers followers of the metal music, having fans from Switzerland to Mexico, passing by Germany, U.S. and Brazil.

Nobody knows if somebody finished with them or they decided to finish their career of electronic terrorism, but the important thing is that they did a great damage in the musical scene.

Paranoid (3) - 24-Aug-05 11:07 AM
German duet was integrated by Stephan Tesch and Michael Former, were formed on 1989 in the city of Aachen, Germany, and they were considered as the true representatives of the German Electronic Body Music league known it as “Knüppelbeat”.

Strain was recorded in 1991 and it is their more representative album. If you like the old skool (Nitzer Ebb), this group is for you.

Cyberaktif - 24-Aug-05 11:06 AM
The first time that I listened Cyberaktif was with the insane single Temper. From Vancouver, Canada arrives this project integrated by the genius Bill Leeb of Front Line Assembly and for the masters Cevin Key, Rudolph Goettel and Wilhelm Schroeder of Skinny Puppy; its also important to mention the participation of Blixa Bargeld of the German group Einstürzende Neubauten in some of the tracks.

Temper is extracted from the LP Tenebrae Vision 1990, the company Wax Trax! Records of Chicago is the responsible for this authentic work of Cyberpunk.

Violent Entity - Mechanized Division - 24-Jul-05 04:46 AM
Who said that the EBM is dead? Its here Violent Entity to demonstrate that the Elektro/EBM Old Skool continues being in the vanguard.

Mechanized Division offers us from the beginning to the end, songs full with energy, darkness and pure EBM as well as some of newest Dark Electro with aggresive sounds, a strong debut from this US band.

"Cold As Ice" is the first track and makes you to jump, is pure adrenaline, pure aggresive energy. The second track "Dark Reality" takes you a little relax with sounds from Trance music.

"Meet Your Demise" and "Select The Victim" are an others songs full of energy. Dont hesitate to buy this album.

This album is much better with a couple of beers and never forget to use your military boots, cause youll be jumping around.

Spahn Ranch - 17-Jul-05 11:35 PM
Spahn Ranch offers us the aggro side of Front 242 mixed with the electric insanity of Foetus Inc.

They are recorded by Cleopatra Records in America and by Zoth Ommog in Europe.
