Paul Hardcastle - Can't Stop Now - 17-Feb-03 12:08 PM
This record pretty much sums up everything I love about House music. Mark Kinchen was at his best in the mid-ninetees in my opinion, producing quality deep, uplifting and vocal House music in abundence, this particular track is without doubt one of his best. Add the stupendous talents of MK to the experience and equally brilliant talents of Paul Hardcastle and you have got a production team of the higest order. Once you hear the pitch bending bassline and the powerful yet silky smooth male vocal, you will know that you are listening a piece of music that is the very best the genre has to offer.
Daphne - When You Love Someone - 03-Feb-03 03:25 AM
I love everything about this record.Danny Tenaglia and Peter Daou team up to produce one of the sexiest deep house records around. Deep swirling basslines, brilliant percussion and a haunting sexy vocal.True class!
Joey Beltram - Energy Flash - 27-Jan-03 04:01 AM
This has to be one of the most well known of all Club records. Fans of Deep House,Techno,Hardcore or whatever derivative of club music they follow, all have a liking for this track. Played in every club across the globe and respected by so many. Whether it be the deep, churning bassline or the murky synths and chants of "Ecstasy, Ecstasy" Beltram forces you to take notice of his masterpiece. I'm pretty sure that most wil remember where they were the first time they heard this record....regardless of their state of mind at the time! ;)
Alison Limerick - Where Love Lives (Come On In) - 27-Jan-03 03:51 AM
Even though this record was a big commercial hit, something that usually puts me off thanks to the frequency of commercial radio playlists, it remains in my eyes one of the most underground sounding vocal house tracks ever. A brilliant vocal performance helped along by one of the most memorable piano hooks in the business. Quality!
NY's Finest - Do You Feel Me - 13-Jan-03 02:10 PM
First release on Bassline records. Victor Simonelli at his very best. Uplifting, perfectly balanced vocal and a typical Simonelli keyboard riff with sexy sax overdubs.
