Timespan, The - Timespan / You Are Here - 28-Mar-04 08:52 PM
Luna-C (aka The Timespan) himself sings on this release! However, it's difficult to catch a listen without having your hands on the record, as the sample on the Kniteforce site deliberately cuts off at the point where the vox begin as Chris was too embarrassed to hear himself sing again.
Silk Cuts - Volume 9 - 08-Sep-03 01:51 PM
One of the great unsung Fade productions - in my opinion, the best of the whole Silk Cuts series.
DJ Stompy - Ride Like The Wind (Remixes) - 31-Jul-03 05:03 PM
Takes lyrics from Christopher Cross's classic "Ride Like The Wind".
Desiderio - Starlight - 26-Jun-03 03:54 PM
The Ferry Corsten remix has got to be the most uplifting track I have ever heard. It's not cheesy and tuneless like most uplifting tracks are in my opinion. It's very solid and powerful.
Acen - Close Your Eyes (Remixes) - 08-Jun-03 01:59 PM
Bottom line: Copies labeled (Optikonfusion!) are the original, as Acen intended, with the Beatles sample (which adds a lot to the track, IMO). Copies labeled (Optikonfision!)!! have the Beatles sample edited out, and are utter butchery. The Acen album "75 Minutes" contains the edited version.
And by the way, the whole "legal", "illegal" thing is not really accurate. Acen samples so many different things that if you made a completely legal un-copyright-infringing version you'd be left with jack shit.
