Profile: Decided to start contributing since I used details from this site a lot when I was putting together a database of my own music collection at http://oneil.com.au/music/index.html. When I started noticing a lot of stuff I have wasn't on discogs it made sense to start submitting since I'm going through and scanning covers etc. anyway.

Reviews & Discussion:

Classic acid house on this record. While there is debate about what was the first acid house track, the two most commonly cited 'first' examples just happen to be the first two tracks on this album, I've Lost Control and acid Trax.
As well as some of the darker, more minimalistic tracks such as the ones mentioned, the album also has some more upbeat tracks such as Mr Lee's club hit Pump Up London and Jack The Bass.
Tricky Disco is an old personal Favourite of mine. This version's not bad but I never enjoyed it quite as much as the original and it never got a particularly good response from crowds when I used to play it. The original was well received if I played it for a house, rave or even some mainstream crowds. The saxy mix I could only ever really play very late during the more chilled hours for a rave crowd. More laid back than the original.
