Chesnut Rabbit has been in the electronic music scene since its conception in the 80s. Listening to industrial, techno, and early break beats, he knew he found his niche. It wasnt until recently he took up an interest in performing as disk jockey. About 4 years ago, he bought his first set of turntables. He dabbled a little, taking the time to get comfortable with these instruments. Around the beginning of 2003, he decided to venture outside the bedroom and perform at house parties getting minimal attention. Determined, he took his passion and some extra money and went out and bought some Technics 1200s and started practicing almost daily. Today, DJ Chesnut Rabbit is currently in the top 5 on Orbital Grooves Radio (www.orbitalgrooves.com) spinning both breaks and trance. He has a growing fan base and is furthering his talents by producing both breaks and trance. DJ Chesnut Rabbit has performed at Imagine 2 in Orlando, FL, Librotica in DeLand, FL, Category 5 in Gulfport, MS, and Back to the Ols Skool in Hollywood, FL just to name a few events. He also had a brief residency at club AV02 in Tampa Florida before its closing. Chesnut Rabbit loves to perform in front of an audience, commanding attention with his antics, great music selection and clever manipulation of the mixer.
