The Martinez remix is the stand out cut here. Check the bassline patterns and changes in this track. Real quality electro/techhouse crossover.

This release is all about The Timewriter remix. It's a serious uplifting deephouse track with nice vocals on top of it. The break is the best part of this record... the chords suddenly stop and the vocals go: THIS IS YOUR HOUSE! and then the subbass kicks in again! Essential!

The instrumental version is the one for me. Never have I heard such a beautifull piece of deephouse music. This is the kind of record that you can listen to at home and it sounds really mellow but when you play it out in a club it just rocks big time! The subbass gets everybody moving and the the build up to the climax is so hypnotising. Ace!

Michel de Hey was not satisfied with the mastering of his remix. He told the Basic Beat label that he would never do another remix for them as they messed up the mastering.

Bought this from DJ Tiesto himself at Basic Beat Recordshop in Rotterdam. Back then he really liked the track a lot. It's funny to see him sampling this and turning it in a big club hit. Even though his track "Traffic" is good the original "Psykofuk" is simply mindblowing. If I put it on it still sounds as fresh as it did back then. It has that true house and techno feeling in it.
