Profile: Spinn' hits isn't the point about DJ'ing as you see today. A DJ must seek at a higher level of state of mind. Go with the flow and you will know that the music styles aren't there, just listen when I spin and you will understand it.

Deep Beats - 20-Jan-03 09:19 AM
Kinda wierd label because there is no documentary of this label. The only thing that I know is that it is kindda Todd Terry, Masters At Work early 90' styl house beats.
Leeandré - I Can Make You - 19-Jan-03 05:26 AM
This is the worst KMS release EVER! The records seems like to much pitched up. If you play it -16% it is also terrible. Kinda turbo moving beats jugle strugle.
Ultramagnetic MC's - 19-Jan-03 03:20 AM
Arising from the Boogie Down Bronx in the mid-'80s as a far-flung hip-hop trio with a heap of new ideas to try out, Ultramagnetic's Kool Keith, Ced Gee, and DJ Moe Love occupy something of a singular place in the old-school pantheon. Combining funk-heavy tracks with jeep-rocking beats and obscure lyrical references, Ultramagnetic MC's have a list of firsts to their credit: the first group to employ a sampler as an instrument, the first to feature extensive use of live instrumentation...the first to feature a former psychiatric patient (Keith) on the mic. Early singles like "Something Else" and "Space Groove" were block-party staples and created waves in the underground, eventually landing the group on the disco-dominated Next Plateau label, where they released their underappreciated debut. The following years found the group shuffling from label to label, releasing albums on Mercury and Wild Pitch before splitting to pursue various projects.

Ron West - Frequency Variation - 06-Jan-03 06:05 AM
NOTE: Frequency Variations was recorded at Watford School of Art in 1974, at the time when Brian Eno was making a workshop on electronic music and introduced Gilbert and West his technique for two reel to reel tape recorders.
Blue Arsed Fly - Starfish / Responder - 02-Jan-03 05:38 PM
The black & white label with special art work edition is made in Brighton, Scotland. It has on the A side a blue arsed fly on it, whatever that is :)..... The other side has picture of a robotic human face with glasses.
