Profile: Electronic music lover since 1989. Got infected by Double Trouble & The Rebel MC, Technotronic and other Hiphouse music at the time. Mainly from the Turn up the Bass CD's which started their series in 1989. Later influences were the harder Belgian and Dutch sound starting in 1990/1991. I remember myself in 1991 as a 12 year old kid getting a mixtape from a friend's older brother. It was a hard sound similar to the sound which I heard on the Turn up the Bass Houseparty 1 CD I just bought with my last saved pocketmoney. From that moment on I was infected by housemusic, I knew this was the music I wanted to listen to all day long. The energy of this sound was so overwhelming. Untill today, that Houseparty 1 CD has been the best purchase I've ever done in my entire life......... ;-)

Nowadays I have a wide variety of styles. I usually play tech-house and techno, from deep stuff to pumping uplifting sounds. I also love to play houseclassix and early rave. I collect lots of different music, I think when a certain record fits well in a set, the audience digs it and the timing is correct then I play it. No matter if it's old or new or club or acid or breakbeat, I play it. That's my style, I think that is what DJ-ing is about. I love to build it up from scratch, take the people on a journey and warm up crowds to a climax.

This is what I do as a resident at the 2 monthly Heroes Of Techno party's in P60 (www.P60.nl), Amstelveen. We have had techno heroes like Rino Cerrone, Umek, Valentino Kanzyani, Ben Sims, Monika Kruse, Alexander Kowalski, Danilo Vigorito, Secret Cinema, Miss Djax, Marco Bailey, Cristian Varela, Gayle San, Hardcell & Grindvik and many many more.

About my Discogs collection........My Discogs collection is not for sale. Maybe a swap might be possible, you can try, but mostly a No will be the answer as my collection consists of records I don't want to sell..

When you have a record for sale which is in my wantlist I'm open for e-mails.
Make sure!:
- you mention a reasonable price in your email
- so don't start with this crap like "make me an offer and the highest bidder is bla bla", that's really bullshit
- the record is the original pressing and in excellent condition
- the sleeve is the original sleeve and in excellent condition.
- Ebay links are also welcome

I would like to bring out my thx and respect to Discogs and the users, they deserve big respect for building this fantastic website! Due to the existance of Discogs I have found records (again) I wouldn't have found, without a doubt.

PEACE in this lovely ugly brutal world.

Eraserhead - Life Is A Mystery - 04-Dec-06 01:28 PM
Remarkable about this release is that it sounds pretty much the same as the track Rave is a Mystery which Vibes & Wishdokta from the UK had produced (also in 1995). Or Vibes & Wishdokta copied this release, although this release speaks of a remix of all the featured artists, so that means there should be a original version somewhere as well?? It has the same piano riff and sample of Madonna's Like a Prayer, the whole track is almost in the same order but with only slight difference.

And a even more remarkable thing is that Biochip C. did a remix on this EP, although the man himself had released the very best version of the sampled Life is a Mystery track a year earlier under his Search & Destroy alias on the Music for Happ-E-Ness EP! Why would he do that?! This remix of his is pretty crap compared to his stunning own release ;-)

Oh, and Forze records claims this is THE Mad-donna record... well it's definitely not because Search & Destroy produced THE one and only coolest Mad-donna record!

DJ Gizmo - California Dreams Volume 2 - 14-Nov-05 06:11 AM
Waveform Controller is in my opinion the best track DJ Gizmo ever produced. That track is just made to be played in big halls and large arena's. It came out in the period when they started to play on the biggest THUNDERDOME raves of that moment.
He used the acid sounds in such a great way, the track builds and drives and kicks perfectly. You can play it from the start till the end and it won't bore you. The kickdrum and the sounds used are produced with a awesome reverb effect so even on a simple home stereo system it still sounds like it's played in a big arena. Excellent.

Teknoboys - Only For The Headstrong EP 1 - 30-Oct-05 03:32 PM
This EP is characterized by the use of samples from The Prodigy's : Android and Meng Syndicate - Sonar System.
Skizzo Frenia and Mad Beat are two fantastic energetic tracks, typical '92 dancefloor stompers. "Pump it up homeboy"! Mad beat is just stunning with lots of energy and breaks in between! It begins with a very nice intro, then you hear the sample fading in which is used from The Prodigy's : Android. Later on in the track you hear the beat with the string which is used from Meng Syndicate - Sonar System (Speedy J's remix). I personally think this track is even better than the original Android ;-) because the producers used the sample more creatively.

Twice As Nice - Full Speed Ahead / E-Motion - 07-Oct-05 03:13 AM
Very funky uptempo clubtune, quite rare. Funny thing about it is that it wasn't picked up by the big jocks at the time though Carl Cox played it a lot in his sets in 2000. In that period he still played quite banging techno but frequently this clubby record passed by in his sets.

DJ Randy - 2 - 10-Apr-05 05:19 AM
The track Deception on this EP is a shorter version than on the original release on Smoke records. It starts off immediately with the high synth sound with the echo effect.
On the original release the track starts with a kickdrum.
