ABBA - From ABBA With Love - 02-Oct-09 08:28 PM
This was a great collection released in Holland, at a time, long before all of the remastered and repackaged albums with bonus tracks. "Elaine" and "Cassandra", for instance were non-album B-sides to singles only. ABBA hadnt been new to releasing non-album tracks to singles, but obtaining them on CD was rare at this time and when this was released, the group had already parted its ways, unofficially.
While the collection mainly focuses on ABBA, it does also include a track from both Frida and Agnetha, from their solo projects. Most of the ABBA tracks here were singles in one territory or another, although "My Love, My Life" culled from ABBAs 1976 chart-topping, "Arrival" album didnt and "Slipping Through My Fingers", from the 1981 "The Visitors" album didnt either, except for a very limited promotional Japanese release.
