Orchestra 7 - Liquid Paradise - 12-Oct-06 07:28 AM
About using live bass player, MAW did already use Gene Perez in 1992 (what about this love...) and maybe before..? The Orchestra 7 album contains some of the beautiful jazzy, piano house tracks, like Love In D-Minor, One Night At Kerri's House, as well as great deep house like The Conversation.
RMA - Past And Present - 24-Mar-06 04:32 AM
Fantastic jazz house track from Marc Pomeroy of Jazz N Groove, who team up here with keyboard and horn players. Past has a smooth kick and a funky vibe, while Present has the typical fat beat of Jazz N Groove around 95 to 97 and a deeper feeling. Tony Humphries play both versions in the Bassline Records (Big Big Trax parent label) Mix CD "Take Home The Club", using the beat part of each.
Tribute - Rain - 23-Mar-06 10:12 AM
The track "Rain" is so beautiful. No credit here but it sounds like a Victor Simonelli record. I feel beauty and sadness on this record, it goes straight to your heart and modify your feeling, just like the Instant Exposure - Wanna Be With You on Emotive Records. A must have for every deep house lover.
India - The Lover Who Rocks You (All Night) - 31-Oct-05 05:02 PM
What a misterious record! but great of course, could have been a MAW remix of this old india's song...However, it's not! I have personnally asked "Little Louie" Vega about this record, and his only answer was just "Someone in the UK"! Also, the kick,percussions... are quite same as Danny Krivitt's edit of Soul Central "Strings Of Life" .
