Here someone thought about his work. The record is developed like a play with intro, topic and outro. The special to it: All Tracks on one side turn into one another and should have been heard in a row. To side A it can be said, that it is very housy and calmly held. It comes along with an straight but also gently beat and is rounded off by a quantity of spheres. Side B however has a more seriously and more darkly effect than the first side. Is it loaded with hard experimental breakbeats, lots of acid waves and a voice that tells from filthy lies. All in all a release turn out well.

Part 1 is my favourite. Cool housy tunes and also a long break. Part 2 is harder and straight. In the middle of the track there´s a strange break. The sound suddenly stops and a few seconds later the sound turns on again. First time I heard this I thought of a pressing-error, but other owners have got the same strange break. So this seems to be intention. ;)
Genesis (3) - Be Mine / All Around You - 12-Jan-05 01:36 AM
Finest jazz step ! My favourite is "All around you" with its crackling bassdrum. After the break at the middle of the track the rhythm startes again with a swingin´ combination of drums and melodic bass which let you think of casinos and the sound of the early twenties.
Hertz - Phonk EP - 12-Jan-05 12:31 AM
Similarly track-names but different tracks. Each track of this record got it´s own flair. My favourites are on the b-side. "Fonk" has got friendly 140bpm and short parts with melody. It can be easily put in a set. "Funk" drives at slower speed and puts you into a crackling, kind of erotic atmosphere.
Andreas Kauffelt - Bassquake - 11-Jan-05 12:52 AM
[Bassquake] is as the name says a hard techno track with effusively bass sounds. The two tracks on the b-side i.e. [sprektral] and [tunneleffekt] are more a kind of chilling-atmosphere than straight techno-beat.
