Justine Suissa - 15-Apr-04 03:08 AM
When I heard Clear Blue Water, I wasn't impressed. Admittedly, the song had nice vocals, but I felt it was bland. But when I heard Burned with desire, it blew me away, thanks to Justine's vocals. Satellite is probably even better. Justine Suissa doesn't sound cheap and soulless like many dance/trance vocalists, but instead her amazing voice can make shivers go down my spine. I could really descibe her as singing like an angel. Hopefully we'll hear much more from her.
Danny Rampling - Dragonfly Presents 'A Voyage Into Trance' Mixed By Danny Rampling - 09-Mar-04 08:03 AM
The mixing isn't top par in my opinion, but the track selection if excellent (if not all that versatile) and the structure works quite well too.
Negative Format - 01-Feb-04 04:53 AM
Negative Format has an interesting, different style, mixing industrial and EBM sounds with trance, sometimes adding a touch of psychedelia. It's amazing how few people know about this band. For me they're one of my alltime favorites.
Moby - Everything Is Wrong - 06-Jan-04 05:02 AM
"Everything Is Wrong" is an interesting cd with 13 different songs, ranging from excellent party hits like "Feeling So Real" to almost spiritual melancholy ("When It's Cold I'd Like To Die"). A few of the songs are a bit less outstanding, but there's nothing you'd want to skip when you listen to the record. I also totally love the name of the album.
trance[]control - 18-Dec-03 06:05 AM
Trance[]control makes good music, but it lacks originality and most of their songs sound very similar.
