Profile: I am a 20 year old man from Sweden that like's psy-trance, trance, hard dance, hardcore, hardstyle and sometimes other styles as well. I have a big variaty of favourite artists and a wide taste considering music. I collect CD's with Infected Mushroom, Talamasca, Vibe Tribe (2), Groove Coverage and Starsplash. Also collect Brooklyn Bounce, even though they make a lot of crap. Like Canda, that was a real disappointment.

I have all Infected Mushroom's albums and singles, not all compilations. I have most of Groove Coverage's albums and singles, there's a few missing. I have all Talamascas CD's, not counting the enormous amount of compilations he appears on.

I really hope some new psy-trance will come from Infected Mushroom, Talamasca or Vibe Tribe. It would be just great with a new CD. None of my favourite artists released anything last year, so I am hoping that soon something new will come.

But mostly I try to collect all CD's that Vibe Tribe appears on, they are so damn good, and now I have most of them, missing a few, but can get them pretty much anytime.
Everytime I get a new CD with one of their songs I feel so good, like I won a big competition.

I am very proud to own all CD's from Utopia Records (2)

From the start I listened to 'normal' boring music, like everybody else (in Sweden). Then I heard O-Zone, a great group from Moldava. I got their album for my birthday, excellent CD. On the CD there were two remixes. Dragostea Din Tei (Dj Ross Extended Remix) and Despre Tine (Prezioso & Marvin Remix). And those songs showed me the right way. Of course I had heard Groove Coverage before, they were the first trance artists for me, and will always be number one. Anyway, I downloaded music with Prezioso & Marvin and Dj Ross, found more songs by them, and some Remixes by other artists. That way I found more artists, and so the music sence developes. After a few years I heard hardcore. I found many hits on Angerfist when I searched for some music I wanted. I downloaded and tryed it out. It was new and exciting, and I kinda liked it. Of course, there is bad hardcore as well as there is bad trance. But some of the hardcore melodies were much... deeper and reached to me more then the usual trance. Some time later the same thing happened again, but with the group Infected Mushroom. I got a lot of hits on Infected Mushroom when I searched for trance and stuff, so I though it had to be good since there where so many songs. I gave it a try. I was cool. But it didn't have the extra touch that trance had. I thought. But I listened to the 2 songs I had. I remeber that it was Bombat and Meduzz. The bass was awesome. It was new experience. I downloaded more, bvecause it was cool, not because I actually liked it. I wasn't bad, but it wasn't the music I listened to. But slowly, I started to like it. On a site called thedjlist.com I seached for the top artists in the world, to try some other artists out and have someting to download. Many of the artists didn't give much results when I searched. But when I searched for Talamasca a whole CD was avaiable for download. I am some of a perfectionist and I like when things are nice and tidy, when things are complete. So when a whole album is there for me to download, of course I download it. Just as Infected Mushroom, this was cool. But this waas more speed and bass, Infected Mushroom has more of an own style.
The album by Talamasca was Zodiac. I liked the song Aquarius, since I am an aquarius I tried it first. I liked the strings and that the song wasn't rushing, the slow lines gave it a relaxing feeling. Then I listened to the whole album, really gave it a chance. But still it wasn't my thing. It took a few months. But now he is one of my favourite artists.

Although trance is my main genre, I get more happy when I get a new psy-trance CD to my collection. A little wierd.

If you have a CD you think I would like, please contact me. If I really want the CD, I can pay. I work but I spend a lot on CD's, too much. Sweden has no good music, I have to order everything from all over the world. Most from Germany (the best trance) and from Isreal (the best psy-trance).

Reviews & Discussion:

Great single, really. My favorite is absolutely the Pulsedriver remix, that's the only reason I bought it. Great remix, but that's not something unusual when is comes to Pulsedriver. What is unusual is to find an artist with such an exceptional and personal voice, truly mesmerizing, which is brought out even more in the Pulsedriver remix, but the other version aren't bad either. It's just shocking, and tragic, that this is the only release by Laava, would really love to hear some more, this is not a voice that should be wasted. Definetely recommended.
I first heard this album about 6-12 months ago, I downloaded it in search for new great psy-trance artists, always expanding my musiccollection. Since then I have wanted to buy this, this is truly a work of art. THE best album I have ever heard. Amazing melodies, bass och strings. I can, without lying, say that each one of the tracks are at least 4/5.
But some tracks are even better, but hard to mention one, without saying that all the rest are awesome as well, since it's really an album you should listen to without skipping songs.
However, there is one track that exceeds the limits of how melodic and fantastic a song can be, and that is People. That song caught me at first listening. It starts very unique, with some really awesome bass melody, with matching synths. Then some vocals are added, which are really made for that bass.
Hard to describe the song, but you haven't heard real goa trance if you haven't heard this song, truly magnificent.
Now I can proudly say that I own this album, and will listen to it many, many times. Really recommended CD.
Second album by Vibe Tribe. It's better, but not perfect. There are two songs that really are great. The first is Three Quarters. This is so damn good. Starting with some bass without the real pressure. Then comes the wonderfull mixing powers that only Vibe Tribe possesses. And then... Boom. Some really fat bass. That moment of the song always gives me a chill and I give them a thought of admirement. Only a genius can do what Vibe Tribe does. They don't do it all the time, but when it happens, it happens good. But that wasn't the only good in the song. Oh no, it gets much better. Melody after melody, and then melody on melody. Extra-ordinary mixing, indeed. 10/10 for this song. The second song that is worth listening to, and that you can remember, is Memories. It starts a little usual, but it get better. Not as good as Three Quarters, but good.

The rest of the tracks are, for me, more like one long song with no great variations or attracting melodies. But what do I know? I can't keep the songs apart.

If Vibe Tribe put all songs from Various CD's and made an album of those, then wow. Like Devils Apple, Zimba, Liberation, Ananda... Those are all excellent songs.

Well, to end it all, this CD is worth the money.
This album is by Vibe Tribe, one of the best groups that has seen daylight. I admit, it's not nearly as good as the second album, but absolutely worth a place in the psy-trance collection. The track Albert Balbert... What more can I say than 'Perfection'? Very good melody, and it doesn't get boring after a while. No matter how many songs I hear, this will always be one of my favourites. And the last song, Adish, very good too. I usually don't like slow songs, but this has been one of the songs I played over and over, just like Albert Balbert. The song Melodrama is very good too, but it took a while for me to realize it, since I thought most of the songs, except the ones I have mentioned, were quite similar.

It took my a long time to get this CD, I payed a lot for it, but I will never regret it. Vibe Tribe will go very far.
This is a great single by the swedish producer Basshunter (Jonas Altberg). The first track is a good one. The second one is extremely good, far above my expectations. He does better hardstyle than trance, you get to know after you have heard this song. The third is not so good. The last one is the classic Boten Anna, which was good the first 100 times. I will absolutely buy this CD when it's available.
Korsakoff Jan 24, 2008
This is without a doubt the best hardcore artist and absolutely the most good-looking;) I had bought Hardcore & More 1, 2, 3 and there were 4 tracks by Korsakoff on those 3 CD's. When I heard one of these songs I was surprised by how good it was, it was a style of it's own. So I listned to the next track by her. Even better. When I had heard all 4 tracks by her that were on the CD's, I knew I had a new favourite artist. I found out that she had released an album which contained 3 of the 4 songs I had. So I just had to get the CD. I was expensive, but now I have it, and I am happy to. But one thing bothers me. The best of the 4 tracks is Backfire, and that one is not on the album The Sound Of. The Backfire song is a real 10/10.

If you like hardcore with some really great melodies, Korsakoff is the natural choice.
The first song is over average, quite good actually. It has a little different begining and the ending is good too.

The second song is very good. Very easy to listen to and reminds a lot of Vibe Tribe's previous productions, which is why I like it. A melody that works and some great mixing really does it. Possibly the best song on this CD.

The third track has a smooth start and continues with class. An all through steady track, no real melody but still it never gets boring.

The fourth track is by Vibe Tribe, one of my favourite groups. It has written Vibe Tribe all over it, but it does not reach the same level as they usually do. At least not the first one or two minutes, then it improves.

The fifth song is performed by Freaked Freaquenzy, and starts with some spooky strings and lines. It intensifies a little bit, and then it calms down. Another track that doesn't get boring. It's over before you know it.

Track number six has a changing begining. First I think it's simple and ordinary. Then after a few seconds it's cool, and attracting. Then a little boring after just another few seconds, then it's just great. Some sounds that reminds of Infected Mushroom. The further the song continues, the more I love it. The melody, the bass that changes with it, and the vocals in the middle of the song, it's just perfect. Then it seems that it's near the end, but there is more. Then it ends in a rather nice way.

The following track, the seventh, starts hard. A few strings then an unsuspected kick and then it's pure bass and kick, with some background sounds that really fits the picture. Not much of a melody, but still extremely good. This track brings a few suprises. After that the most of the song has passed, suddenly a melody comes. It's not complicated or rare, quite simple actually, but it's the right one. It completes the song. Very good at the end.

We have come to the eighth track, which I think is a little darker than the other songs. It gets stronger as the time goes, it feels very special, I like it. A melody appears, but disappears again, but that keeps me listening, now I know that there could be more to come. Close to the end a breakbeat is served, and it's genius. My ears are really enjoying it. Then it accelerates and ends shortly after.

The last track has an intro that in some way puts my mind of Psy-Trance, it sounds more like a Trance/Dance melody. Then it speeds up, with cool bass sounds. Then a short paus where-after it gets a little bit boring. But that is history after a few seconds, when it really starts again. At the later part of the middle there is a melody that really shouts Infected Mushroom. Then an abrupt end.

Over all this CD was very good. It has a good feeling about it, and the sounds are not to dark and boring, nor to bright and happy. It's just like Psy-Trance should be. Easy to listen to, you never have the urge to change song. I would certainly recommend this CD. (Btw, this was the first time I took the time to really listen to this CD and I wrote everything down as I listened to it.)
As all Future Trance Compilations, this is the best music you can get. All the songs are not perfect, but together it's a very good CD.

Many good songs, no bad ones. Only some tracks that are extra good, such as;

Mikesh - Hardcore Salsa
Jens O. - One More
Rocco - Street Knowledge
Paffendorf - Under My Skin (Jens O Remix Edit)
Second Spring - Feel The Silence

The last one is without a doubt the best, 10/10.

This is a CD worth the money, since it's well chosen songs, and many of them too.
Groove Coverage - She Dec 30, 2007
I am a big Groove Coverage fan and a collector, I resently started buying all the CD singles that I could get my hands on. This was available, so of course I bought it. I almost regret it. All Groove Coverage listeners have heard the original song She, but not many have heard the rest of the songs on this single. They are lucky. It's crap. The only song that's not a total waste of time is the extended version, wich has a cool begining and a nice end, otherwise it's crap to. I just want to say; if you are not a real collector like me, don't buy it.
This is one of the best CD's I have ever heard. If you like psy-trance, this is a must-have. The melodies, the beats, the bass... It put's a chill down my spine, it's that good. It very nice to hear how different the songs get depending on which artist he works with. At first, all the sonds were quite similar, but veru good. After listaning a few times you found ll the good bits in each song, and learned to really apreciate it. My favourites are The Awakening and Action!!!
This CD is a work of art!
