U.K. Profile: Im into music alot, i've been a DJ since 1991 and a Producer since 1992 I make Trance, House, Techno, Chillout. I also Dj in all these styles, i love all GOOD music. I have a home studio, Korg micro korg, Novation A station, Novation Drum station, E-MU Orbit 9090 V2, E-MU Proteus 2000 with X-Lead 1 Rom, M-Audio Midisport 8x8, E-MU 1616 Sound Card, Soundcraft Mixer, Qosmio G30 Laptop, UME-UF6 Master keyboard, Cubase software with loads of Plug in's. I got into dj-ing in 1991 after going to a club - fasion - record shop in my home town Portsmouth, just round the corner from where i worked. I kept going back every day to listen to all the new tunes that have just come in. From then on i started to buy records & in 1992 i got my first pair of 1210's I was on the phone to a Dj called Artwork, who gave me some facts on how to use them, thanks to him i beat mixed my first time that day, "not bad" I built up my record collection and got better day by day. I started to do house party's & live the life of a BUM Dj, PARTY PARTY & PARTY. On a trip to Spain when i was 18 - 19 years old, i met a Spainish Dj, who showed me how to have a good time as a Dj in Spain, and let me tell you what a good time. We would stop Dj-ing at about 4 -6 am & then whent on to party, at some great clubs, some were V.I.P. they had a big metal door with a sliding view peace to see who was there, i thought that it looked like some kind of drug house... but no, it was a MAD club, great music great people, the Dj's also done the bar work. That was the first club i Djayed at in Spain, and had great fun doing it to. When i got back to the UK i started to hang out at the local record shops, one was Movement records witch was owned by Stu rising & the other was Jelly Jam records witch was part owned by Luke Slater, great Dj. He told me alot about how he made his music and he heard some of my stuff and said that i should make more, so i did. In Movement records shop, you had Dj's Ramos, Dj Supreme who i gave he's first leasons to, Jammin who leant to Dj round my house & Vinylgroover who i also gave leasons to round my house. They went on to run Fusion club nights plus making records, and i sort of got left back. My friends started to hire out rooms and i started to Dj for them, Playing House music. From there i met more and more people and got to know some of the top Dj's about. I got to Dj in a local night club on sundays called EQ and was asked to be the promoter for it, from there i met more Dj's and other promoters and took on my own night called More Energy on the 3rd Friday of every month plus doing the sunday sessions with some top Dj's. Also i started to manage Dj's as i had my own night and promoted another. Then i slowed down abit so i just got on with my day job & drifted away from the running of it all. I started a family and so music took a back seat in my life. Now i've got some new decks and have built up a home studio, so now maybe i can start getting on with it all again, as i only have old tracks that i have done, the newest being from year 2000 time flys when you get old... So now im back into Dj-ing & making music, plus i run a record shop on Ebay so that helps me with my records & the sales help with the studio gear.
