Before sending messages about selling etc, read the following. I've been receiving some request lately to sell some of my cd's. The albums that are in my collection list are not for sale, possibly only some crappy Thunderdome(-like) compilations I may be selling. If you are looking for a certain atricle, please first check auction sites like eBay, Gemm.com or other ways.

Ron D Core - Decibels Of Destruction - 17-Jun-05 02:40 PM
If this mix-cd is compared with his other mix-cd's that I know, I would choose this as the one I like most. Every listening is a pleasure, again and again. The first thing that I like about this mix is the track selection, it shows good variation. It starts with a brutal breakcore track and is followed by one of my personal Nasenbluten favourites.

The mix has a great paste and the whole is nicely mixed, a sort of energy-flow. Although the mix contains a lot of 'classic' hard tracks the mix is even a nice one just to listen to, to my opinion. To finish the mix, Ronald has chosen some obscure track I didn't hear before. All I can say is, that this mix a is nice demonstration of breakcore, hardcore techno and speedcore tracks fluently mixed together. Recommended to the hardcoreheads out there.

Outside Agency, The - Scenocide 101 - 23-Mar-05 01:41 PM
Very nice album indeed of Dutch producers DJ Hidden & Eye-D. If you like the rough industrial sound of hardcore techno, then this one is for you. Every track is in full length and has an added intro tune. To hear the intro of track 1 of cd 2(special edit of Machine Slavery :) ) you have to put some effort into pressing the rewind button and count back till "-3.44" or something. Same for cd 2 to hear some sound.

Although both producers are skilled drum 'n bass producers we do not find drum 'n bass tracks on this album. Although the album gives you plenty of nice and unique tunes. A must-have for every hardcorehead I would say.

Various - Hardcore For The Headstrong - 16-Sep-04 08:31 PM
This is a nice studio-mix and presentation of the sound of the H2OH label. This first mix-cd in the "Hardcore for the headstrong" serie has a nice pace and Omar shows his good mixing skills. Although all tracks are from the same label there is enough variation in it and the whole sounds very energetic.

This cd was released in a time a lot of crap in this genre (in Holland) came out. It was back then a relief to hear hardcore techno still mattered to some people.

Various - Lost 2001 - The Cold Rush Classics 1993-1997 - 06-Aug-04 08:35 AM
Cold Rush Records was a sub-label of the famous Plant Core Productions (PCP). Unfortunately PCP has been discontinued since 1997. After this Acardipane Records (which currently doens't exist anymore) was started. Probably to make some money this compilation was made, which features older material from 1993 till 1997. Although I was very happy to be able to buy all those releases that I like on one album in full length and effect.

All productions on Cold Rush are done by Marc Acardipane except for the 8th release, produced by Miro. The cd includes all the productions on the label except the remixes of 'Stereo Murder', LOST6R. The releaeses on this label have an exceptionel sound. The tracks are slow and very dark. Most of the tracks are below 160 BPM. So I don't think you could call it hardcore techno but hard techno would be better genre. A fact is that a lot the tracks on this cd have been hits in the gabber scene but never really have been excepted into the mainstream techno scene.

I think this album was a nice chance for the PCP fans to have all those hits on one album. Still it is very nice hearing these tracks, like they're timeless. It is painfull to hear Marc Acardipane nowadays. Skip Marc's recent work and instead just put this on.

Kate Mosh - Dynamo - 05-Aug-04 06:05 PM
What to say about this release by Mathis Mootz. I was surprised to hear him doing a 'steady beat' production. I'm into hardcore techno and (less) into drum 'n bass. Before this album I only knew Mathis Mootz as a drum 'n bass and industrial electronic music producer and already liked his agressive style of producing. I have to say I loved this album from the first time I heard it.

The tracks are best described as 'noisy uptempo industrial techno', some people may call it hardcore techno or gabber but that's not what it is to my opinion. My all-time favourite track on this cd is 'Kate Mosh'. This track has it all: a nice industrial sound, stabbing kickdrums, a very very nice synth-riff and an evil voice yelling "Kate Moshhhhh" through your speakers. I can recommenend this album to people who are into the harder industrial techno of e.g. the Ant-Zen label and fans of Mathis Mootz in general.
