I mostly just do things here to pass the time. It's not the funnest thing in the world though with everything the way it is now. I stick around here because I care about my collection & don't want to see my stuff either turn to crap or have my name erased from it like I never existed. Merry V4-VX to anyone who is here now and to all future oggers for however long this place shall last.

Trading: I'm not selling anything in my collection at the moment but I will try to track down something for you if you want it in physical form. I don't make homemade CDr's, don't ask me. That falls under the highly illegal category and I don't need/want to deal with things like that. My rule on mp3's is this:

I will only give cds/cdr's in mp3 form if it is something rare or something that cannot be found in a commercial seller store's. People lately seem to go all crazy about 'Mp3's hurt the music business'. Yes, that may be true but, giving nothing in your collection to someone who wants in mp3 form isn't really helping the music business...you are most likely just helping some annoying person on ebay who charges 100 dollars for a rare 3 track single. So pretty much, since a bunch of my stuff is promo junk & rare stuff, I will give almost all of it in mp3 form. Just rememeber, if it still exists somewhere comercial, I will not give it to you...You Have Been Warned.

Voting: I've been made one against my will. It's not the most enjoyable thing in V4 because the system sucks and penalizes the everyday editor for mistakes that aren't theirs. I find the voting guidelines often offer no protection in terms of justifying votes. So I compiled my personal guidelines that have been backed by the management in the help forums several times. I hope you read over these and understand the system better. :)

Voting #2: Rules & Regulations based on the Help Forum discussions & management responses

The unwritten voting rules can be found here:

& backed by Nik a number of times. (I'll add more links & posts when I find them)

Breakdown:

#1: You edit it, it's yours. You receive any and all future votes from now until it is edited again. This includes votes that are for mistakes made by a previous editor or for an outdated edit. Ex: You made an edit that was correct in 1998 and it was voted correct or Yes then. That edit now, may not be correct & can be voted as such.

#2: All submissions are to be voted on as a whole. If you can't fix the whole thing, don't touch it. Nik's philosophy is, it's better to fix a whole sub, then to chip away at it's incorrectness. Receiving a Needs Minor or Needs Major for a mistake not done by your edit, is perfectly valid because all subs are to be voted AS A WHOLE.

#3: Edits are not voteable. Only subs on a whole. Do not vote C&C on an edit, unless it has made the sub complete & correct. Also, You are not to vote correct on an edit, if there are other issues with the sub. If your edit was correct, but the sub is junk, a Needs Minor or Needs Major is a valid vote. I normally leave comments first, but usually I find, no one does anything if I do. I mostly vote on wrong links in terms of numbers & links making fake pages. I'm not voting to hurt you, I'm voting to hopefully let other people know not to link to that page when they see all the red highlighted subs. I'm just trying to warn other people not to make the same mistake, in case you never fix it.

#4: The voting system works on an average system. Voting Needs Minor on a sub that has been previously voted correct does nothing. It does not highlight it and it does not change the average from correct. Therefore the only way to make a correct sub "Needs Minor" is to vote Needs Major Changes. I'm sorry, but that's the way the system works.

*I have recently disallowed the ability to contact me due to various things including a troll, hate mail (Amazing, I'm probably one of the nicest & least sarcastic people on here), etc. I may or may not be unlocking it in the future. If you have a question or comment on a vote I made, please comment on the sub itself. I ALWAYS remember what I have voted on and will come back...eventually. ;)*
