Profile: I have been buying dance music since the late Eighties/early Nineties. Generally House/Trance/Progressive/Tech. My collection has been re-growing steadily since a burglary in '95 where I lost lots of irreplaceable CD's. Have always had huge respect for SASHA whose feet have remained firmly on the ground regardless of his huge success - he plays the music I love and has an amazing 'ear' for ever-changing musical directions - The man has never put a foot wrong. Lately, though, HERNAN CATTANEO has become, in my view, the best DJ around - For the Purist Club-goer, Hernan delivers every time - championing some incredible new talents from South America - Checkout his weekly Sequential show on 95.1FM (PS: At this time I do not sell any of my collection).

Man With No Name Featuring Hannah - Paint A Picture And Floor-Essence - 02-Jun-09 04:01 PM
Got into MWNN b4 he was well known. Oakeys R1 Goa Mix was awesome at the time, then saw Oakey live in NYNY, Southampton - Indian Summer Party. Danny Rampling championed his sound on his weekly R1 slot - When I heard this tune (clearly MWNN even though Mr Rampling never announced it!) - I was blown away - superb ethereal chugging Goa trance with his trademark beat and a trance riff to die for - paid through the nose for a Promo through someone local (but well worth it). Still sends shivers down my spine when I hear it and remember the exact place and time I first heard it. A rare and special tune - and MWNNs finest of many superb moments!
Hernán Cattáneo - Sequential - 12-Sep-08 03:49 PM
Hernan has that clear and rare talent for finding class productions from musically uncharted corners of the globe - I have avidly listened to his Metrodance sets and they get stronger and stronger each week (sadly they are now off air) - This album is like all his sets - the more you listen to it the more it affects your psyche. CD1 is the strongest of the 2 here though - chugging progressively and relentlessly to the enormous climax of Hernans own take on Phoniques - "For the Time Being" - Hernan is a huge DJ talent who needs to be releasing compilations much more prolifically than he currently is!
Sasha - Invol2ver - 12-Sep-08 03:11 PM
History shows us that being a pioneer has always attracted criticism from a minority - mostly from those who misunderstand the reasons behind the act. Usually, though, the critics end up being silenced by the magnitude of the eventual achievement. This album is quite simply the epitome of this scenario. Sasha has, for me, created an album that takes me back to the days I first got hooked - good times - this is an album I am proud to know and own. Sasha is to electronic music as Einstein is to Physics!
Yunus Güvenen - Delta EP - 26-Mar-04 01:21 PM
Two typically and equally awesome epics from an artist who delivers quality progressive sounds with every release. Fire Recordings, Silver Planet, Bedrock - formidable labels for a sheer giant of a talent.
Various - Fear Of A Silver Planet Vol. 2 - 26-Mar-04 01:08 PM
I was lucky enough to obtain this release direct from the label months before release. Flash Brothers were the natural choice to produce and mix this compilation and, with an awesome back catalogue to choose from, an unenviable task! The resultant product will remain in my playlist for years.
