Profile: Throughout my Dj career I have found a great interest in British produced underground dance music. From UK Oldskool back in 92/93, to the ruff sounds of Jungle in 94 breaking out with its own unique styles of reggae jungle - leading trough the years with jump up and dark-step to the present. Not to forget the lovable sounds of happy hardcore (aka UK Hardcore). Three years ago, I found a greater interest in the UK Garage scene. I am now focusing my time and energy to Speed Garage/Bassline House.

What is Speed Garage/Bassline House? Speed Garage first blew up in the UK back in 1997 when it was first known as the "Sunday Scene." You could say that it was a product of the garage scene and the drum and bass/jungle scene. Taking the 909 house beat commonly found in Chicago House and adding on to it reggae samples and the dark basslines of jungle. Todays Speed Garage continues to evolve along with the warping basslines that it is known for. This evolution has now integrated more Hip Hop and R&B samples. This new genre that has formed out of Speed Garage is known as Bassline House - a friendlier sounding hybrid of Speed Garage concentrating on organ lines and female vocals rather than the ruggedness rude boy characteristics of Speed Garage.

My current interest is to provide Speed Garage/Bassline House with the exposure that it deserves here in the states, as it has already established a following in the UK - especially in Birmingham, UK. No to forget that my all time goal is and has been to first and foremost entertain the crowd and please the public. After all, I am an entertainer.
