Sleeparchive - LBB Works - 16-Oct-09 07:49 PM
This record is the definition of "contemporary art" sufficiency. Idiots will see here a work of genius, but every decent ear will hear a joke.
It beats the numerous impostors you can find in ambient music, releasing an album with a note by track, the finger on a key for 10 minutes, and the other hand playing with modulation if you are lucky. Here, youve got nothing, just a white noise in both tracks.
Please stop releasing non-music to be different from the mainstream. Both are crap with different faces. One is vulgar, the other is pseudo-intelligent.
Ion Ludwig - Circle Of Dorth - 04-Dec-07 06:16 PM
This EP is more than just a club thing, it is a guide to the unconventional minimal techno music. Simeon Simon is a piece of art. A storytelling and progressive construction with a misterious piano slightly growing. One of my favourite track of 2006. My second favourite is Pornslices. I love the bionik samples and beat construction, threatening and banging. Puzzle Pieces and Infalling Fool are cool uncommon minimal tracks. Great and precise work. My favourite Stock5!
Jesse Somfay - 24-Oct-07 01:29 PM
Jesse Somfay really gots his Unique style. Linking minimal techno with etheral ambiances, and more progressive and acid sounds. Each track is a piece of art, even when you read the titles... Call it what you want, I call it post-techno. Such as Ion Ludwig, his productions remind a "fairytales" ambiance, but in a different way of producing. A collaboration would be magical for sure! You can easily listen to it with your MP3 player and dreaming through imaginary lands... or shaking the head on the floor. Another young soldier for the future of techno!
DJ Mark Farina* - San Francisco Sessions Vol. 1 - 16-Aug-07 02:14 PM
I just wanted to pay a tribute to what I consider like the best deep funky house mix ever created. It is thanks to San Francisco Sessions that I discovered House music and fell in love with it. It is deep, funky, classy, Mark Farina has never been better. The track selection could not be better. Every track is mind-blowing and fit very well together. Most of my fav are in this mix! Made in 1999, it was the period when Marks wizardry was shinning. Indeed, his voice samples/ ambiances like the sound of the sea, of birds, make the mix unique.
You must get this mix if you are a deep house fan. I really think that house will never be better than this...
DJ Mark Farina* - Seasons - One - 23-Jul-07 04:30 PM
Im a big fan of Mark Farina, but this mix does not appeal me. I dont know why its so rare and so appreciated. The mixing is okay, is common...and I find the tracklist boring. Compare it to San Francisco Sessions. 3 years later, its reaaaallly better.
