Mark V. & Poogie Bear - The Kings Of Rock - 13-Nov-07 10:53 AM
Mark V. & Poogie Bear - arguably the godfathers of LA Hard House. This release was one of their most popular releases to date because of the track "War". "War" was one of the most influential American Hard House tracks to ever come out. It's a simple yet banging track that pretty much set the standard for the sound of Hard House.
In the late 90's, specifically when this record came out in '97, you couldn't go to any rave or club, or even buy a mixape, and not hear "War" being played. It was, and forever will be, a staple in the American Hard House genre.
Archatos - The Strength Of Unity - 06-Sep-05 12:08 AM
This is a very powerful and inspirational record. For myself, Strength of Unity was the first Gabber track I ever heard. It single handedly got me to fall heavily in love with the genre. Very heavy basslines, the synth pattern is very powerful and energetic. It still makes my blood pressure go up to this day.
DJ Trajic - Elevation Vault - 26-Jun-05 11:12 PM
Jungle Monster is the track to listen to on this record. The vocal snip with the breaky beats works real well. The synth riff that's used compliments the track real well. It's not like that track "harps" which, imo, is a little too fruity for me. (^_^)
