Your entitled to you opinion banksybrother & yes you do have a very bad attitude, I'm am very proud of my label & I've loved my old skool for over 20 yearsGranted some of these tunes have been released already, but I try to mix it up a bit & bring the DJ's & ravers something unreleased too How much money do you think I'm actually making here, it is not as much as you think believe me! After paying the artists fees & the pressing costs....all upfront, sometimes I don't break even on a release Who says they shouldn't be repressed anyway, the artists have given their consent & have been paid for their work I know most of the people who've bought my releases & they are not kids, I can assure you of that The people who've actually bought these records seem very happy with them & that is good enough for me Many thanks to the people who've supported Ninety Two Retro, the next 2 releases are due out very soon.....Music For The People! :)
I thought I'd explain the reason for the dedication on this release. In August 1991 I went to Spiral Tribe's Torpedo Town rave in Liphook in the south of England Dinah Mcnicol also went to this rave & she was last seen hitch hiking home, then she vanished without a trace During the rest of 1991 & 1992 I used to see her missing posters at various raves I went too Dinah's photos always haunted me & I wondered where she had gone too. In November 2007 her body was found buried in Peter Tobin's Garden. During the press coverage of her discovery I saw this quote..... "Dinah McNicol: A bright, kind lover of rave music" So I thought a fitting tribute would be to put her name on this release R.I.P. Dinah |
