It makes me wonder what Autechre are going to be doing for the next ten years.... When you listen from Incunabula (I'll ignore Cavity Job this time.. ;p) right through to Draft 7.30 and hear just how they have evolved and shaped the scene from 1993 - 2003, then check out the Gescom releases and remixes... the question is just HOW far can they go..? I thought that after Confield and Gantz_graf there couldnt possibly be any other directions left (unless they begin releasing nothing at all obviously). I believe I'll be looking forward to the next Autechre output! :)

I can't say a bad thing about this ep. Fans of the breakneck gabba/mentalist AFX material wont be disappointed with the mix of "Run The Place Red" by The Bug feat Daddy Freddy. However, the next two tracks "Ktpa1" and "Ktpa2" may only be played once by many people. These tracks are really for the people who could listen to Satanstornade (WARPCD666) all the way through but in all, a worthy purchase.

This is truly one of the sweetest sounding albums I own. Absolutely lush sounds and if you come across this release, just listen to how beautiful "BIRDS ON THE WIRE" is..... Do not miss out on this album.

As with other Gescom releases its unsure just who features on the record, yet on this particular EP, the first track sounds like something shelved off of Autechre's DRAFT 7.30. Fans of AE or Gescom shouldnt miss out on this, and the CD version comes with a 14+ minute bonus track "MEGAMIX".... Love it.
