"Do not allow yourself to be programmed" (Underground Resistance - Electronic Warfare)
(Dick Lucas, Threat By Example, herausgegeben von Martin Sprouse, Pressure Drop Press, San Francisco, 1989, 13)
"There will come a time in your life when you will ask yourself a series of questions.
Am I happy with who I am?
Am I happy with the people around me?
Am I happy with what I'm doing?
Am I happy with the way my life is going?
Do I have a life or am I just living?
Do not let these questions strain or trouble you.
Just point yourself in the direction of your dreams.
Find your strength in the sound and make your transition.
Do not spend too much time thinking and not enough doing.
Did I try the hardest at any of my dreams?
Did I purposely let others discourage me when I knew I could?
Will I die never knowing what I could have been or could have done?
Do not let these doubts restrain or trouble you.
Just point yourself in the direction of your dreams.
Find your strength in the sound and make your transition.
There will be people who say "you can't" - you will.
There will be people who say "you don't mix this with that" and you will say "watch me".
There will be people who will say "play it safe, that's too risky" - you will take that chance and have no fear.
You won't let these questions restrain or trouble you.
You will point yourself in the direction of your dreams.
You will find the strength in the sound and make your transition.
For those who know it's time to leave the house and go back to the field.
Find your strength in the sound and make your transition." (Underground Resistance - Transition)

#### About me and Discogs ####
My Discogs collection is still not complete. About 9 CDs which are not into Discogs (yet) and some freetracks are missing.
My wishlist's also not complete and some CDs ain't real "wishes" but seem to have a nice tracklist for remembering the name of the CD and eventually buying it. Some are only in my list because of 1 or 2 good tracks (mostly albums), the kind of releases (except repress crap) often doesn't matter then. For some I would spend much money for, others a just worth a few €s. Also I own some CDs that are in my wantlist but they partially skip or have a damaged, missing or plain black, white etc. cover instead of the original colored sleeve. I hate represses!
I could have been submitted approx. 16 more releases, mostly during the "old" Discogs time without Wikipedia-like features and so on but I was a little bit lazy ;-) Especially as I once tended to list (all) credits, errors, notes etc. immediately (which takes hours sometimes) during this era.
I could also have been rated much more releases I heard during the whole last years.
I'm listening to music from lots of styles, e.g. Hardcore Techno (especially from 1994-1997 + subgenres like Doomcore, Mainstyle etc.), Trance, Hard Trance, Techno, Deep House, HipHop, Punk Rock, Melodic Hardcore, Reggae, Ska etc. I like everything that's cool, no limits. ;-)
