I AM ALWAYS INTERESTED IN BUYING OR SWAPPING VINYL, so if you've some records left CONTACT ME!
I like to spin Hardcore and Gabber records. Mostly Oldschool from 1992 till 1994 and Happy Hardcore of the years 1994 till 1996.
After listening to dance music, I started in 1994 listen to hardcore, impressed at this time by this 2 tracks : "Four blond nouns" by Ilsa Gold and "Hardcore" by 3 Steps Ahead.
After a period of Happy Hardcore and Mellow my Music taste is nowadays mainly based on the ruff Hardcore Stuff which is influenced by the typical Rotterdam Sound.
Also like Hard, but grooving Techno, Acid, Rave and 80ies Music.

GE & GM - Seven Eleven / Ben & Jerry's - 10-Aug-07 02:08 AM
So Ex-Ravers, get on the starting block, it's time for volume 10 of the BRave Series, this one by old school vets GE & Gm aka Generel Electric & Generel Motors, an old 90's forgotten Rave act from Manchester providing two smash hits of dancefloor-techno-breakbeat excelle (as they says). Ok, maybe a bit overrated, but on the A Side "Ben & Jerry's", is sounding like a strong club version of Pink Floyd's "The Wall" with Beloved-like vocals, topped by a fat-as-you-like breakbeat, boomin' 808 subs. Deep, hypnotic and devastating, as we used to say...B-Side gots "Seven Eleven", one for peak time airplay, feeaturing killah frequencies and this incredibly effetive vocal breakdown, sounding like Cajmere versus Altern8 on some, this is immediate reaction!
Various - Parkzicht - 23-Mar-07 01:55 PM
Rotterdam has developped herself into one of the main capital dance cities of the world in the last two decades. Loads of superstar DJ's and producers have their roots in the harbour city and even the world wide reknown hardcore sound was founded in Rotterdam. The place where it all started was the infamous Parkzicht club... This club was one of the very first venues where house music was spinned in the late 80’s and early 90’s. For house minded people, Parkzicht was the place to be; it opened its doors around 22:00 PM and closed when the party was over, which was mainly around 11:00 AM.
In this legendary club, top DJ's like Rob, Stanton, Joshua and Ricky Da Dragon were the resident jocks every friday and saturday… Loads of other big DJ's such as Parkneger (better known as Darkraver), DJ Paul, Michel de Hey, DJ Panic, DJ Gizmo and many more regularly stood behind the decks to make a guest appearance… People from all over Holland, Belgium and even France, Germany and Great Brittain travelled to Parkzicht in the weekends to have the time of their life!
In early 1997, Parkzicht was forced to close the doors due to the city government regulation as they had other plans with the location, this to big regret of the owners, DJ's and visitors. Parkzicht is classic, Parkzicht is a legend, people still talk about the golden period of this wicked club and the outstanding location, atmosphere and the ever innovating music is very much missed...
Ten years after Parkzicht was closed, b2s Events came up with the plan to organize a Parkzicht reunion; on the 25th of November 2006, thousands of house classics lovers gathered for this event where the good old "Parkzicht sound" was presented in three areas by DJ's as DJ Rob, Stanton, Panic, Parkneger, DJ Rob, Paul Elstak and all former residents. This trip into history was surely one of the best events of 2006 regarding the spectacular feedback of the visitors on loads of internet forums; a perfect opportunity to give all music lovers the chance to re-experience Parkzicht with a massive triple pack mix compilation which offers in total 6 massive dj sets, live recorded at the Parkzicht reunion of November 25th.
DJ Rob, Stanton, Parkneger, DJ Panic, Ricky da Dragon and Joshua will surely take you back to the late 80’s straight to the mid 90’s, offering over 80 early house, early tech and early rave tracks. Even the design is brilliant, hillarious and totally Parkzicht worthy!
Chosen Few - Chosen Paradise - 02-May-06 10:31 AM
The Track "Chosen Paradise" uses the melodie of Gangsta's Paradise by Coolio, it was originally released on Mokum Records 56, which seems to be at this time a very hard to find and to get Record, so a lot of people became happy while this release was announced. Later most of the people get dissapointed by the fact, that the Version on VIP Records (3) doesn't features the famous "Tell me, why are we so blind to see, that the one we hurt, are you and me?" Sample. On VIP 008 "Chosen Paradise" was pressed again, this time as an "Uncensored Version", (also named like "Uncensored Version") which includes the sample and is therefore (finaly) the same version like on Mokum Records #56.

Mixelplix - Terror And Mayhem - 26-Jan-06 08:06 AM
There are some rumors around that this Number was first planed as the last Rotterdam Records. That would also explain, why this Release is the only one with a normal "black" standard Sleeve, like it was just used for the represses (then also with a little sticker of the Artist and Labelnumber) , and not in a Fullcolour Sleeve like Rotterdam Records is and was used to. But after the #69 from Neophyte and Stunned Guys (Army of Hardcore) turned into a huge Hit the label sold enough and was aible to go on with the Rotterdam Records History until nowadays.
Terror Traxx - 10-Aug-05 10:15 AM
Like Forze Records was basicly founded as Sublabel of Rotterdam Records to release more the Happy influenced Stuff, Terror Traxx was used for the harder and faster Releases. But with the Time more and more Happy and nowadays also "normal" Mainstyle Hardcore is released on this Label, so you can't hear nowadays any differences to the parent Label Rotterdam Records anymore.
The first 42nd release where all released in a standart purple Cover. After it the label starts up with yellow coloured Covers till the Release Number 51. The Terror Traxx 052 is the first Release that comes in an individuell Cover named with Artist and Titel on it. Just the following releases came in a special non-standart Cover: Terror Traxx 009 (Various> "Shoop" There It Is..... The Terror Traxx Sampler Volume One) and TT028R ( Bodylotion > Always Hardcore Remixes). Terror Traxx 050a , 050b and 050c has been released as Picture Discs.
