Tube & Berger - Straight Ahead - 23-Oct-03 11:30 AM
A highly addictive tune: very distinctive squeaky acid riff repeated over and over, with a smooth, breaksy bassline coming in underneath and keeping it funky. Vocals are unobjectionable. Always gets noticed on the dancefloor. It's one of those tracks that puts you in a good mood.

God Within - Acid Funk - 19-Oct-03 09:47 AM
Acid Funk - one of those all-time classic tracks whose sheer funkiness never fails to make the body move. The next school funkadelic mix (C1), with that wonderful bassline, is by far the best in my opinion. Sped up a little, it's one of my favourite songs ever to dance to.
Golden Boy With Miss Kittin - Rippin Kittin - 14-Oct-03 12:30 AM
I remember the exact moment when I first heard Rippin Kittin (the original), and the feeling of dancing to it; that beautiful floaty sound with those dark lyrics.
Coming up to a year later, I have finally got it on 12" and my new discovery is the Alexander Polzin mix. It's my favourite mix of it yet.
Felix Da Housecat - Excursions - 13-Oct-03 10:15 PM
I disagree entirely! The mixes on the first half are fantastic, in fact that's one of the reason's I like this CD so much. Whenever I listen to one of those tracks I always go back a bit in order to hear the mix, that's how much I like them. Missy Queen's Gonna Die into Treat Me Better is stunning, as is the Substance into Take a Walk. All excellent songs as well.
I finally saw the note on the version of Take A Walk, which explains a lot. The 12" pack has a different version (not as good). My level of obsession for the CD remix of it now makes sense, given that it's actually a Dima remix.
Various - The Magnificent Sounds Of Click - 30-Sep-03 10:46 AM
It has a dodgy-looking cover, but this CD has a really interesting collection of songs. The stand-out one for me is Walk The Line by Dani Siciliano; very cool vocals, off-beat sets of rhythms that catch you out just when you think you know what's coming next, and quirky electronic noises that make me move my hands around in a strange way. One of my favourite tracks of the year - I can't believe it's exclusive to this CD. If only I could get it on vinyl...
