This is a pretty fascinating snap-shot of the British electronic music scene at the beginning of the 1970s, featuring several pieces which, to my knowledge have never been issued anywhere else. The two Peter Zinovieff pieces are rare examples of this near-forgotten pioneer playing the instrument that he helped to design. Several of the tracks are by members of the BBC Radiophonic Workshop, some of which have since been released on CD compilations, but one or two still remain unique to this release. David Vorhaus' first track, described on the record simply as a 'delightful canon', would later become the intro to his "White Noise II" album in '75.
