Aycan - Devil In Disguise - 14-May-06 10:52 AM
The reason i bought this release was not the beautiful Mette Veronica on the cover or the great lyrics or because it has 4 mixes. It was the banging Rob Mayth Remix, since he started producing hes brung us with awesome remixes such as Special Ds You & Alex Ms Technodisco, But the Devil In Desguise RMX has to be 1 the greatest songs of 2006. Its got it all - Hard Beat,Uplifting Lyrics,Catchy Melody & The ability to make the crowd go nuts. This vinyl is top buy if your a DJ,Trance & House - its all on here !
Heiko & Maiko - Glücklich - 14-May-06 10:52 AM
Everytime i hear this song, It reminds me of summer when i was 11. Although i dont usually mix or rate house - ill make an accpetion, its got a great clear house beat loop clashing with hard synths topped with one of the best melody ive heard before with na,na na nana. This is the best house & most uplifting song ive heard .
Good One, Heiko & Maiko !!!
Rob Mayth - Barbie Girl - 01-Apr-06 05:54 AM
Rob Mayth , youve done it again . A brilliant smasher vinyl packed with 4 different styles of trance. Remixing Aquas classic "Barbie Girl" On the A Side you get the Club mix - The typical party style rob mayth production - great!!. The Alex M. mix is a house style mix with repeatative vocals & hard pushing basslines. Then On the B Side you get a jaw-droppin Bangbros. remix pumped with hard kick & phatt bass, orgasme noises & their usual vocals from Frank Bauer - the best on the vinyl & lastly we have the fantastic hardstyle Upsynth Remix - packed with hardstyle noises, jumpstyle kicks,mega-hard synths which uses the same style as DJ Isaacs Remix for Derbs Coole Sau.
Great Vinyl.Great Song.Great Mixes. What more do you want ?
Dickheadz - Pimp My Stereo - 21-Feb-06 12:41 PM
There back!, the dickheadz bring us another speaker-blowin anthem using a well-known melody combined with urban vocals & a thick bassline. On the viynl there are 2 phatt mixes - the Club mix which is not their typical style which i like, they bring to much on when the bassline comes on and throughout the breaks, but on the other hand a good familiar melody (which im still to think what it is) and good clear kick. Then we have the Dickhizzle which to me is best song ive heard in a while although there is not much melody to it they have composed a a good thick synth mixed with the electric style bassline (which i love),randon vocals & subwoofer/bass noises - definetly 10/10 for me !
Hope they have another release like this out soon. "Ladies & Gentlemen, These Are The Dickheadz"
Rocco - Street Knowledge - 19-Feb-06 02:25 PM
Another great release from rocco and aqualoop records. The club mix is the typical uplifting pop trance which does it for me, then on a2 we have a dark rave style mix which is perfect if you like hardkicks & thick basslines.
On the flipside we have the new alias from the alphabet city gang (The Pitchers) with their typical rob mayth bassline and alarm sound style from "Black Is Back" which Is so hard it distorts if turned up loud, Then finally we have the Megara vs. DJ Lee remix which im not so fussed on either. But on the otherhand a masterpiece of a vinyl and the best release since "Lost In Spain" using the NWAs Straight Outta Comptons Lyrics
