Profile: I mainly play 1992-93 hardcore, drum & bass and jungle. I've been into the scene since 1991 but only began collecting records seriously in 2000. Now I well regret not buying records from day one!

I've got plenty of tunes still to list 400+, all sorts of genres but all electronic. I never get round to doing it though and the decks room is resembling less of a bombsite. Some of those tunes are even listed now, and some of the others, well discogs takes so long with your submissions that I simply can't be arsed entering my unknown releases for inclusion on the site.
Lazy? Probably.
I'll be thinning my collection out a bit also in the coming weeks. How many tunes do I never pull out but can't bear to part with? I'm sure you all know what I mean.

99.9% of my collection ISN'T for sale although there is a 0.0000000316% chance I might be persueded on certain bits. Excellent odds there - you never know!

Urban Hype - A Trip To Trumpton - 19-Jun-06 05:30 AM
This tune was what the hardcore scene was all about for me in 1992. The pretty fierce breakbeats (and basslines on the remix) are constructed perfectly around uplifting pianos and ruff stabs and riffs. The cheese element comes from the Hugh, Pew Barney McGrew sample although the faltering alarm bell sample retains the urgency of it all. Totally ripped on Mark Ryder's "Got any hardcore?" on Strictly Underground from the same year and wrongly so in my opinion, this one sold so many copies it virtually went commercial.

Jungle Buddha - Green Buddha EP - 23-Nov-05 08:57 AM
This has gotta be just about one of the darkest, nastiest hardcore/ jungle tracked produced in all of '93.
Track A1 is the main track. This tune sounds like complete and utter devastation. Imagine if there was no-one left on earth- no buildings, no seas nothing. Just a black baron smouldering wasteland. If that was the case I reckon you'd hear this tune in the background! Wicked.

Sonz Of A Loop Da Loop Era - Flowers In My Garden LP - 27-May-04 11:57 AM
What a totally wicked EP! This mad release from the Danny Breakz really has something for everyone- mental scratching, uplifting strings, a touch of dark and ruff brakbeats. 1st heard these tunes on Pleasure FM in deepest darkest Kent way back in March '93.
