Castelli & Perazzoli / Ariel Perazzoli - Paradise E.P. - 31-Jan-07 03:54 AM
Alternative Route continues to deliver the hits that you wouldnt expect. Take the B side - groovy, deep, house-ish, add in some ocean summer vibe guitar riffs with a little sax and there would be something wrong with you if you didnt move your body to this jam.

Then we've got "On The Road." An instant classic in my opinion. Quite progressive housey yet very exotic with soothing waves of rhythm that are sure to leave you feeling tranced out. This is the type of track you put on and it makes you think of the good old days. Very nostalgic and full of life.

10/10.

What an amazing release! Definately fits the name of the label "Alternative." Youve got your mellow-groovy Deep House tune in the Original Mix, perfect for winding down a set or to keep the late night dancers smiling. But the real winner here is when Andry Nalin comes in with his Bush II Bush remix.

Now if this bassline doesnt make you wanna shake your ass off on the floor then I dont know what will! Very progressive yet very very house-ish at the same time, the blend of melodic sounds and chunky bass textures go hand in hand so perfectly. As if you havent already been taken to another level listening to this tune, here comes the piano and the saxaphone. The sax is so damn perfect in this tune - very exotic and very SEXY, reminiscent of the older days - a night out on the town with booze, dancing, and house music.... and its sure to turn the ladies on without any question or hesitation. (my girlfriend will confirm this)

Normally I wouldnt buy a record like this, but this one is special. I would expect nothing less than for this to be completely played out by TONS of DJs worldwide.

Pig & Dan - 26-Oct-05 05:56 PM
These guys just don't know when to quit. Everything from Trance, Progressive, Techno, Electro, and the Tech-ier House sound...Pig and Dan do it, and they do it well. They really have developed their own distinct sound.

More melodic pieces have appeared on Sadie...their progressive sounds on Submission, Tech-ier sounds on Tecmission, and their latest release, "What Comes Around" is probably my favorite so far.

Its amazing that for the past 2 years, this duo has pumped out a ridiculous amount of releases - but the best part - they dont miss a beat. Not one release is average. They arent just turning out whatever they feel like - theyre turning out good quality electronic music, but always have that edge that keeps them seperate and above alot of producers today. Theyve even remixed "bigger" trance artists like IIO and Tilt, turning average clubby trance tracks into Progressive gems.

The day Pig and Dan call it quits, will be a very sad day indeed. Keep em comin, fellas!

This is truly a brilliant masterpiece. The "One Night on the Streets Mix" is just your average deep-melodic progressive chugger, but the real winner here is the original.

The ambient intro sets the mood, with lush dreamy sounds that ease their way into your senses. The percussion is very distant and has a static-like atmosphere. Along with the hypnotising, rolling baseline...even some quiet acid melodies make their way into the background as the track progresses, guaranteed to leave you stranded in outer space. Did aliens create this? Its quite possible! Prepare for a journey...

Dousk - Pa Dida / The Novel - 05-Aug-04 05:35 AM
This is a record that will once again put Bedrock over the top. "The Novel" is a very slow progressing melodic piece, perfect for an intro to sets. Pa Dida gives every trance lover what they want: DEEP emotion with dreamy sounds that wave themselves in and out throughout the track...and very sexy quiet female vocals that make the tune complete. A perfect set ender. You need to go out and pick this up...my jaw dropped and I was blown away that this is a Bedrock release...A perfect 10/10!
