Drum & Bass is my main choice of style (as you can see by my collection!!), anything that is by the legendary LTJ Bukem is a must (or any of his labels), genre preferences are;
Intelligent, Liquid Funk, Dub-Wise, Neuro-Funk, Ragga-Jungle, old school DJ Hype style classics (mid-nineties). Also like Classic House from mid-nineties, West Coast Hip-Hop , Modern Funk, Down-Tempo (anything on Earth or Cookin' records or of a likeness)
Hate - Happy Hardcore, Gabba, Death Metal, R & B & chart music!!!
Any Item in my collection that is by or relates to Daniel Williamson is not for sale at any price so please don't ask - anything else please feel free to make me an offer.
Cheers, J

Various - Logical Progression - 27-Jul-07 08:33 PM
This is without doubt the most pioneering and awe inspiring album I have ever heard and changed my life considerably. Danny's vision is recognised clearly through this masterpiece of drum and bass and was a worthy beginning to the then forming 'intelligent' genre. This album will never be beaten as his vision was pure genius. Bring back GLO!!!
Makoto - Down Angel / Echo-Vox - 15-Jul-07 09:21 PM
Fantastic first release by anyone's standards!! definate shades of what we have now come to expect and love from Japan's number one with an almost neurofunk / teebee style beat pattern creeping through also. Without a doubt 'Down Angel' is one for the hardcore Makoto fans (if your lucky enough to own a copy) but will also appeal accross the board as a well laid funky number with bags of talent to say it was his debut 12". Hardly suprising Danny from GLO snapped him up.
Polska - Fondle / Taught - 01-May-07 05:35 PM
A truly beautiful piece of music, more for the listener as opposed to the dancefloor. Tight abstract beats, non standard loops and generally a very thought provoking track. I've not listened to much else by this producer but this one is definately worth a visit.
Big Bud - Mr Nice EP - 10-Apr-06 08:08 AM
This is a fantastic EP, probably some of his best early work. Soul Food is such a well produced track with beautiful piano sections, this tune is guaranteed to thaw the coldest of tempraments. The rest of the EP is flaweless as well showcasing his talent with some down-beat flava as well as his obvious drum & bass presence. This is a must have for anyone lucky enough to come accross a copy of this beauty. I salute you lord Bud!!
