This is more a review of the physical record than the tracks.
The Armand Van Helden Remix seem to be at least on my record to have a bad pressing, the sounds is all distorted and almost only one one channel, BUT the other tracks on the same side and on the other side are absolutely fine.
Considering this is most likely the remix most people wants and that this doesn't look like your "regular" bad pressing, only on a part of a record is very unlikely. So I wanted to warn those interested,
I bought another one, the 2x12" promo version you can also find on discogs
and this time the sound is good on this great armand van helden remix.

I own(ed) all the versions of "I can't sleep" and frankly they are all less than average not to say bad.
They sound like patterns put together, parts of the tracks sounds great but as a whole almost all the remixes are failures.
Except this version that is : D+E Transax Dub
It has luckily for us nothing to do with the other versions except for the female vocals and this time it really sounds like a complete track with an intro, well placed vocals and quieter moments.
If you like the old school 91-93 "house" saxo sound from when it was more like a saxo sound played on a keyboard than a real instrument and are looking for a really "pumping" saxo ryhthm it really is a must have. It's not a very complicated track but that's where it is good, once you heard the saxo line you will always remember it, I did and that's why I bought it 15 years later.
