Drexciya - Fusion Flats - 01-Jan-06 11:03 AM
This EP should be bought for the Octave One Remix giving a real plus at the Fusion Flats track by giving it a nice light drumwork and a deepgoing bassline. A real dancefloorkiller for creating a powerfull sphere.

Märtini Brös. - Audio Park EP - 23-Jun-05 11:50 PM
Babyhaze is really funky with the soft female voice whitch makes it chilling combined with high tones and a house (soft baseline) a real groovy track for on the danceflour.
444 reminds me the intro telling : "...DJ stands for Disk-jockey and that the disk these DJ's spin aren't compact discs but old-fashioned records..." but then reformed in a hardtek set so old tunes don't die.Th rest of the track somewhat similar to the first only more shrill.
3rd track ain't worth the effort, it fits more in a disneymovie or a background music for a play: sounds melodramatic.

Jeff Mills - Jet Set - 17-Jun-05 09:33 AM
Personally this is the worst release on purpose maker for me (without the Live Series counting).
A dark sphere without much variation: sounding rather cheap.

Headroom - su:real 5:9 - 17-Jun-05 09:33 AM
A-side is a compilation of many familiar sounds of great hits in techno/electronical music brought together with a pumping bassline which not fits to the voice.
B-side kinda makes me think that its a remix of Mr. Oizo's Flat Beat, real nice.

Monophonik - Lo-Fi EP - 11-Jun-05 12:15 PM

This is a very, very divergent release with both real good and real bad tracks.
Mono-Stereo, Sähkö, Xctil-303 are more techno wherefrom Mono-Stereo & Xctil-303 building up, around a light created atmosphere bringing in the fat basslines.Xctil-303 is darker, deeper.
Default Bastard & Funked Down Lo-Fi Monotrack have a very distorted and dark bassline : totally unable to dance on, not even to listen to.
Then for what the Spookyplex concerns I don't know what these tracks (original + remix) do on this release: they are so different qua style, rhythm & feeling -> crap actually.
